We scheduled the date and time for the work, agreed on the contract price, and Kellen showed up as scheduled and prepared to do the work of moving a couple of chairs from our house here to the house in Bend, placing them in the great room there and moving the existing oversized chairs down a steep stairway to daylight basement storage. Kellen is delightful to work with and did a careful and professional job. I'll add in that my husband was astounded that for the oversized chairs in the Bend house, Kellen could carry them unassisted down the steep cement staircase to the basement without even a wobble. They wrapped everything that could possibly be damaged and took extra pains with the boxes with my dishware and breakables. When I unpacked, there was NO DAMAGE to anything. This is the first time (in over 15 moves) that I can say that. Although my move was just across the state (and they generally do much bigger moves than mine), they fit me into their schedule on less than two weeks notice which saved me. They charged a very fair price for their services and the final amount and the estimate given were virtually identical. The move occurred in a howling snow storm and the destination required some gnarly driving conditions, but Jason and his team actually showed up a little early on pickup and delivery. If you are in central Oregon and want to support a local business that takes real pride in service, call Jason. He may take a little while to get back to you because he is on a job but you won't wait long and you will be in the very best of hands.

I did not receive a call back until July 7th. When I spoke with them on the 7th they made an appointment with me to come out on the morning of July 9th to evaluate what needed to be packed and moved. They didn't show up and didn't call me to let me know they were not coming. I called them the next day to see what happened and left them a voice message because no one answered. Today is the 14th and I still haven't heard a thing from them. They may be great movers of your belongings IF they call you back and IF they show up to their appointments. It is the summer and I understand they are very busy but all they needed to do on the 7th when I spoke with them is to tell me that they are scheduled to capacity and could not take on any more clients. Taking on more than you can handle and then failing to meet modest expectations is not a great business strategy.

Hood, and then we connected with the best, most professional and courteous, meticulous Bend Brothers Moving to help us unload. Cody and Jesse were awesome. I would literally hire these two guys on every future move of my life. There is a reason this company is voted "Best in Bend." They carefully laid out protective barriers on the floors, doors and walls.
