However, I am quite disappointed that the coach does not have the observational skills to know my kids' skills and challenge them more. Both kids found the class less fun and challenging for them despite feedback has been gently given to the coach (i.e. " my daughter has done gymnastics before...she found the moves are quite easy for her") Nothing is changed noticeably. Same with the younger son, he can do all the tasks easily, shouldn't the coach find ways to improve and challenge them more? He is distracted or idle a lot of times because he finished the movement really quick. I am really disappointed with the lack of skills in the coaching styles.

Whether you are looking for a serious competitive environment, a beginner class, or just making sure your kids are getting some exercise in a healthy environment, I would recommend Evolution Gymnastics. They were recently featured as Aurora's Business of the Month! I have watched over numerous years as the owners get better and better at running this business... always making small changes here and there to improve the classes, or the experience, etc. Attending gymnastics class is my daughters favourite thing to do during the week, and I have seen her abilities, her fitness level, her confidence all increase significantly as a result of going to Evolution. Everyone knows her there, it's nice that she has a place where she is so familiar with everyone outside of the house and school. Because of the amount of time she now goes, it is expensive, but I believe the prices are fair and that you "get what you pay for" in life. Beginner "regular" classes are reasonable. While it is completely up to her, I hope she maintains her excitement for gymnastics and for Evolution Gymnastics. Recommended for kids in the Aurora area.

Aurora Town Park is centrally located in a nice residential area in the older part of Aurora…read more Though small in size but it's location is great for community events: Town of Aurora 150th Celebration, Farmer's market every Saturday from May - October. A band stand can be use as performance venue, a softball field and a small play area for the kids. Good thing is there are washrooms on site!! Parking is really limited but you can park on the side streets if not Go Train Station is only 2 blocks away!
