The water park is really lackluster, no one uses it. The gazebo is regularly occupied in the morning by Asian grannies doing tai chi. A sight to behold. The south has a baseball field, a larger playground, a skatepark, a basketball court, two more tennis courts, and another soccer field. This half is often bustling with activity, especially in the summer. The place looks right proper and is well-maintained by the staff. The pond is a nice touch that is surrounded by the verdant fields. If you haven't come to this place for a little walk, give it a try. Just look out for the geese.

Pro tip: do NOT park your car at the neighbouring seemingly empty lot- it belongs to ford, and they are NOT friendly neighbours. Your car will get towed without a warning. This community centre is spacious and clean. Everything is easy to find. The gym is gigantic and stretches far beyond my eyes. The pool is 50m, worked by beautiful and hardworking lifeguards (lol just kidding, shameless plug). Both areas have plenty of seating for viewers. The hallways are large and extensive, so don't be afraid to wander around. There's also a fitness centre overlooking the pool. It's kind of small and lame but I rarely see it packed, so I guess it'd be a good idea. It's not great for lifting, but it has a lot of equipment for such a small gym. The regulars are usually older adults, trying to get some exercise in.

There is usually also an ice cream truck there on the weekends which is just sweet. As for tables, there are some picnic tables here and there, and some tables by the washrooms. The washrooms are okay. I think I only ever used them once and they didn't scare me off but it is a public park bathroom so nothing fancy but not super scary either (aka it's useable) :D

I also checked out Dandelion Café at Edwards Gardens, a charming spot tucked inside the Toronto Botanical Garden's historic barn courtyard. The menu offers light bites, drinks, and sweet treats, with heartier options like wood-fired pizza and grilled dishes on summer music nights. Service is friendly, the atmosphere is peaceful, and the seasonal hours make it a lovely warm-weather destination. A hidden gem for a relaxing coffee or snack surrounded by nature. There are two parking lots that are adequate even when the schools are open. I like that the building is located on a side street far enough from Yonge St for traffic to flow well. There are 3 gymnasiums and some meeting rooms that can be rented. The gyms are also used for summer programs run by Richmond Hill Recreation. They offer archery and golf lessons as well as co-ed volleyball for a fee. I've seen some picnic tables outside and a vending machine on the way to the gyms. The auditorium in the centre of the building is spacious and has a stage. It's too bad there's no swimming pool! Occasionally, the buttons that operate the doors for people with disabilities, don't work.
