Update 12/23/24: Susan B commented on this post but nothing happened from it. Select is trying to…read moredo everything to hide my reviews. Pay Attention People. Pay attention to how much they charge you and what work was actually done. These medical companies are schemers and commit insurance fraud constantly. Update 9/12/24: Spoke with a manager named Karen. Karen is extremely rude, condescending and immature. If she spoke to me how she did... i wonder how she treats her employees. Karen is the remote manager and is in charge of all the ones in Colorado Springs. Karen needs to learn customer service. Karen should not be a manager with how she handles things. I would avoid this place like the black plague. I would avoid this place at all costs. I came here in February to get dry needling done (was told its possible.) When I arrived at PT... I was told that they cant do any dry needling around the "lung field." The PT person put 1 needle into my neck and I left right after. I had no evaluation, no exercises and really NO HELP. Select billed my insurance for a full visit. They bill my insurance almost $400... and for what? They didnt do anything. I would avoid this place like the plague. They obviously have no issue committing insurance fraud. Someone was supposed to reach back out to me with 24-48 hours on August 22nd and still no word. TLDR; Select Physical Therapy commits insurance fraud and the manager is trash

My mom and I visited, in person, several facilities before choosing Select - the entire facility and their staff was impressive the minute we walked in the door! The ladies in the front office were truly the ones that convinced us we were in the right place - and my 92 year old mother is a tough sell. The girls were so nice -- fun, genuine and so efficient in dealing with insurance matters and scheduling appointments. We were further blessed in getting Cat as mom's therapist! Cat is a perfect fit for mom - she is personable, professional and knowledgeable. My mom has been in PT for a few months now and Cat has been awesome and helping mom restore her strength and balance!!! Thanks to the team at Select for making this a positive adventure for my mother!

I went in this morning not being able to move my neck to the left, and it was actually because of what was going on on the right side. The parking lot's access is from Janitell rd. From i-25 take the 7-Falls/Circle exit. Drive EAST (away from the mountains). At the light, turn left on Janitell rd. Mystic Mermaid is inside the 3rd building on the right hand-side #2860 is marked on the black awning of the entrance. (What is marked as the Crowne Plaza hotel on the business card, is now Hotel Elegantee'). The massage studio is on the 3rd floor. Take the elevator up to 3, hang a right, go down the corridor, the second door on the right is suite 301. Ok, so now for my review. I bought a set of 3 Hot Stones massages from Groupon. I have to say I was a little apprehensive about buying a bundle (without having ever used this business) but after trying my 1st massage today, I have to say that I am actually looking forward to my next two sessions! I tried to first contact Shari on FB, and then I tried email...but I finally had to call her to reach her. I don't think she is online much...which is ok. This was not the typical massage I am used to. The best way I can describe her practice is: 'a hybrid between a chiropractor and a masseuse". Shari uses two techniques "Ortho-Bionomy" and "Chapman's Neuro-Lymphatic Reflexes" that are very mechanical in nature. It reminded me of when I used to go to physical therapy, to heal a damaged shoulder ligament. This is truly a place where you come when you want to heal chronic back pain or when you truly need your knots to be worked out of your muscles! I was pretty relaxed during the massage, but I had to voice my needs thorough the session, I can never fully relax when I am engaged in conversation. Also, as you can see, the room is very soothing and relaxing, but there is still quite a bit of natural light filtering in from the window. So this is not the 'dark' environment that I usually prefer for deep relaxation massages. I want to reiterate that I am very satisfied with the service she provided! I think that she offers a service that is far more elaborate than the classic 'relaxing rub down in the dark'. Shari has over 25 years of experience as a masseuse! She, herself, suffers from chronic back pain; that's how she was first introduced to Ortho-bionomy by a friend. The benefits were so great that she went on to study it herself and has incorporated it into her practice. She is very personable and the office looks very soothing and relaxing. Both sounds of crashing waves & classic instrumental music was playing softly...which helped to drown out environmental sounds. I will update my review after my 2nd and 3rd visit. But so far I am glad Groupon led me to this lady.
