The "therapist" part of "physical therapist" is very real; my practitioner, Sarah, treated not just my symptoms, but my whole self. Under her care, I improved rapidly physically and also learned so much about my own body and how to care for myself. She balanced trying new therapies with basic core strengthening and flexibility exercises. I was always amazed at her ability to recommend precisely the missing piece in my treatment. Though I originally saw her for chronic low back pain, she's treated all sorts of complaints and injuries in my 2 years with her. The entire team is fantastic, from the front desk folks to the massage therapists. I started treatment at APPT and all was going well until an insurance hiccup occurred. Because I…read moremoved recently, and mistakenly thought that my insurance bills were being paid through autopay, my Medicare insurance lapsed. I was hoping that I could get my insurance reinstated quickly but it has taken a matter of months. I was notified by APPT that I owed them some money which I paid yesterday. The amount I owed was $363. After I paid my bill I inquired how many sessions that was for and was told it was just one session. That seemed excessive to me and, on further inquiry, I learned that it was the "insurance" price. The non-insurance price is $110. When I called back today and spoke to Candy she said that there was nothing that could be done. She'd spoken to her colleague who refused to give me the lower price. It seems to me that they could have made a small concession and given me the lower rate as an act of kindness and good customer service, but they refused. When I told Candy that she'd just lost a patient, as a result of that decision, she didn't seem to care at all.

Most would merely put the patient on machines for most of the session, with maybe 5 minutes of hands-on work at the end. Rezac & Associates is NOT like that. Not only is the entire session hands-on work (with a machine or other modality as needed), but a number of their physical therapists are conversant with Lyme disease and the havoc it can wreak on all systems of the body. Although I may not heal this side of eternity, Rezac & Associates knows how to cater their physical therapy to the needs of each patient, rather than merely using a set protocol. I've been with them close to two years now and would not hesitate to recommend Rezac & Associates for your physical therapy needs. Moreover, they CARE about their clients.

Pay attention to how much they charge you and what work was actually done. These medical companies are schemers and commit insurance fraud constantly. Update 9/12/24: Spoke with a manager named Karen. Karen is extremely rude, condescending and immature. If she spoke to me how she did... i wonder how she treats her employees. Karen is the remote manager and is in charge of all the ones in Colorado Springs. Karen needs to learn customer service. Karen should not be a manager with how she handles things. I would avoid this place like the black plague. I would avoid this place at all costs. I came here in February to get dry needling done (was told its possible.) When I arrived at PT... I was told that they cant do any dry needling around the "lung field." The PT person put 1 needle into my neck and I left right after. I had no evaluation, no exercises and really NO HELP. Select billed my insurance for a full visit. They bill my insurance almost $400... and for what? They didnt do anything. I would avoid this place like the plague. They obviously have no issue committing insurance fraud. Someone was supposed to reach back out to me with 24-48 hours on August 22nd and still no word. TLDR; Select Physical Therapy commits insurance fraud and the manager is trash

My mom and I visited, in person, several facilities before choosing Select - the entire facility and their staff was impressive the minute we walked in the door! The ladies in the front office were truly the ones that convinced us we were in the right place - and my 92 year old mother is a tough sell. The girls were so nice -- fun, genuine and so efficient in dealing with insurance matters and scheduling appointments. We were further blessed in getting Cat as mom's therapist! Cat is a perfect fit for mom - she is personable, professional and knowledgeable. My mom has been in PT for a few months now and Cat has been awesome and helping mom restore her strength and balance!!! Thanks to the team at Select for making this a positive adventure for my mother!
