They have cute little enclosed booths you can sit in if you're working on a computer, a great idea for those of us who'd like to work somewhere like this, but don't always enjoy lots of noise.

I wasn't sure about the Avalanche, because the ingredients used are a unique combination, but it did not disappoint at all! Down to the last sip, I wanted more and wished I ordered a larger cup. You can't taste the milk at all, which is typically a gripe I have with lattes, but not here which I appreciate a great deal. I was able to chat it up with the staff before my order was complete, and they were both so friendly and put a smile in my face. Definitely down to Earth and gave you that small town family treatment, thank you! Today, the interior was jazzed up with St. Patrick's day decorations which was adorable. Green from wall to wall in a cozy coffee shop way. The donuts looked spectacular! I didn't pick one up, because I am trying to lose some weight, but I sure did think about buying a couple over 5x during my wait for my order, which only took a couple minutes to make. In our experience, at most places that have anything with these allergens, they can guarantee that we can at least get a drink (if not food) without cross contamination. Even smoothie places have been able to do so. BOLT shares a counter with Fat Cat Ice Cream, who makes the ice cream in house. The fact that they have a posted notice writing off all liability for cross contamination without giving customers an opportunity for discussion was a first experience for us, and is quite disheartening as someone who would've loved to support local. It also makes me question the processes in the kitchen - if we are so able to find many food/drink places who guarantee no cross contamination while having several of those allergens on their menu, it is curious to me that a place that shares a kitchen with a separate business couldn't seem to do so. Was looking forward to trying, and I hope for an opportunity to safely do so in the future! Edit following Owner Reply: Unfortunately, the staff did not inform us of that which the owner claims. Had that been the case, we would've loved to try BOLT as originally planned.

Lovely and cute bistro with lots of boba and drink options!…read more I live right across the street, so the location is perfect for me. This bistro is located in the same shopping center as the Food Lion and Hwy 55. There aren't a lot of parking spots right in front of Boba Beans, but there's plenty right on the other side near Food Lion. This is a great place to grab and go or stay for a while. I've come a few times to work while waiting for my car inspection next door or when I just needed to get out of the house since I work from home. There are plenty of tables and chairs throughout and even some couches if you'd like something more comfortable. I don't like tea or coffee much, so I can't give a review on those, but they have a Citrus Refresher with boba that is absolutely delicious! I always get that when I go. They've recently changed their food menu a bit, so I'm not sure what is best, but I've also always enjoyed the food there as well. It's made fresh to order in-house. My favorite thing about Boba Beans is that they have staff of ALL abilities. I absolutely love seeing how the staff provides opportunities for people with a variety of disabilities. That's what made me fall in love with it! Not a lot of establishments will give people a chance, but it's great to see this happening here! Highly recommend it if you're in the area!
