I came here for my first visit with my new primary doctor and was very impressed with how I was treated by both the receptionist and Dr. Moon, plus the assistant. Everyone is very kind, friendly, and caring here. The office is nice and has plenty of seating when it gets busy. They have new patients fill out their information on iPads and it's quick and easy. My doctor is wonderful and helped me to get a temporary handicap placard which we'll renew in 6 months. He is very attentive and also has great advice. He also has a fantastic sense of humor and helps patients feel right at ease. I HIGHLY recommend this office and Dr. Moon! read more

Let me tell you about Garret Moon, a man so medically gifted I'm convinced he was sent to Earth by a council of ancient healing deities who were tired of watching humans self-diagnose on WebMD. I came into his office with a mild sore throat and left feeling like I had just been baptized in the holy waters of healthcare excellence. This man didn't just check my vitals -- he checked my soul. He asked about my symptoms with the compassion of a saint and the precision of a NASA engineer. When he said, "Let's run a few tests," I swear a choir of angels started humming softly in the background. His stethoscope? Probably forged in Valyrian steel. His lab coat? Tailored by Armani, blessed by monks. His bedside manner? Imagine if Oprah, Gandhi, and a golden retriever had a baby -- that's him. At one point I coughed and he nodded thoughtfully, like he just solved a medical mystery that's stumped doctors for centuries. While the time spent with the provider is decent, there are errors in my chart, waiting to see the doctor takes way too long and they do not respond to all refill requests from myself or the pharmacy without any communication to me as to why or even a rejection to the pharmacy. read more

I had to get blood drawn, I have an extreme fear of needles, I asked the gentleman if I could lay down while he does it, he was SOO kind with me, soo fast, and did such an amazing job keeping me distracted and talking about other things. I couldn't believe how easy it was. See my Google review. Im ashamed that I cannot give this clinic any stars but that is not a option. I'm an RN and past clinic manager. Since enrolling as a new patient 4 months ago, I have had to advocate and have items corrected, or inform staff of wrong patient information. I've had RX sent to wrong pharmacies twice, wrong blood test requiring repeat on my dime, zero follow up on paperwork like referrals and prior authorizations. All around a total unprofessional experience if you are looking to become a patient there. The only nice thing is the front desk receptionist and nurses are great. Don't have your blood work done there. Got stuck 4 times before getting it right, and I'm not a difficult Needle stick. Staff need more training for sure. read more

This is complicated. Dr. Oyoyo Onuoha is great and I'd highly recommend her. Unfortunately I can't say the same about Vincent Noriega. He seemed fine when I went for my pre-op exam but then for the followup we scheduled a telemedicine followup and he didn't show - which was annoying - and after I called the office and they said he would, he still didn't. I waited over an hour before giving up and finally had my surgery without that followup. That was all unfortunate but forgivable but today I got a bill from Stripes and was charged $40 for a " NO SHOW FEE " To be clear *THEY* charged *ME* $40 because *HE* didn't show. WTAF ‽? !?! Stay away from this place. * update - after a strongly worded voicemail they at least voided this charge so factor that into your decision accordingly read more

There's a revolving door of Physician's Assistants and doctors at this practice (I've seen 5 different people in the last 2 years) and the front desk staff is incredibly rude, argumentative, and dismissive. I'm already looking for another doctor or PA in the area since I've never had such terrible service from a doctor's office every before. Normally I have no issues with this clinic. Today, however was another story. I saw the PA about a week ago for some cold symptoms and after a week or so of antibiotics, I was actually worse off today that I was a week ago. I tried calling around 12:30 and kept getting their voicemail. Evidently they take lunch between 12 and 1, but the message didn't indicate that. I went down to the office at 12:56 and was told to sign in if I had an appointment and they would see me at 1:00. I explained that I didn't have any appointment, and was told to take a seat and I'd be helped at 1:00. I get that people deserve a lunch break, however it was literally 3 minute before 1 at the point, and you can't be bothered? What kind of service is that? Anyways, I just left at that point, went home and called, asking to leave a message for the PA. I was told that she was working in the Mesa office and that their phones didn't allow them to transfer. So I called the Mesa office at 1:15 and asked the PA to call me back. I was told she would. End of day now, and no call. I guess I'm starting to see why people used to complain about the lack of service. Today was a perfect example. I'll be back, but hesitantly so. read more

The Doctors are good but overbooked and the office staff makes this place a nightmare. It just isnt' worth the headache. I think this place overbooks and doubles up appointments. I typically wait for 30-45 minutes after my apointment time to see a Doctor. I've waited over an hour a few times. They just don't respect your time. The office staff doesn't answer the phone, they do not return calls or messages. You will be forced to go in constantly. They fail to send your Rx to your pharmacy and you will have to remind them 2-3 times before they do. I went in once to have labs for 2 different doctors. I had 2 seperate orders and I made this very clear to the lady at the front. She only sent one to the person drawing the blood and I had to redo one set a few days later. We tried to have the office manager contact us with no luck. She does not call back, no matter how many times you try to contact her. We eventually switched our PCP and getting them to send our medical records was like a second job. It took hours of calls, emails and repeated visits. We actually had to go to a different office to finally get them to send the records. I would never recommend them to anyone. Oddly several of my specialists have mentioned their dislike for Stripes when I told them my experience. They said they never call back, they don't send anything over when requested and they are a huge headache. It's sad that they have the most important thing, good Doctors. but can't get the logistics right. They need to fire the office manager and start from scratch with a more Customer Service minded team! read more

Decided to try Stipes since it is only a mile from my home. Went there for allergy testing last December. Weeks went by with me calling to get results and to get the drops, no call back. Finally was able to talk to Hanna and went in to get results and drops which by the way did not work. The worst is yet to come. I was having major neck surgery on Feb.18th 2021 so i had to have EKG, blood work and clearance from doc. Went to Stripes, saw Vincent, did the blood and EKG there and was sent for x ray. Went back in to get results and Vincent said everything looked good for surgery and they would fax to my surgeon. Well they faxed the results but not the clearance letter. My surgeons office called me the week before to tell me this. I called Stripes, they said they would fax it. On the Friday before my surgery again surgeons office calls, no letter. I called Stripes again, Oh sorry thought it was faxed, we will do it now. Tuesday Feb 16 surgeons office calls at 4:30 pm, still NO fax with the letter! I flew to the office instead of calling. They claimed I never came in for the follow up to clear me! I said I did and i called 2 times the week before and was told all was good and they would fax the letter. If I needed to come back in why was I not told that when i called to inquire about my clearance letter?? I demanded to be seen right then and there and I saw one of the NP's and was assured it would be faxed that evening. On Wed morning , the day before my surgery, the surgeons office got the fax from Stripes and from me because i asked for a copy and had my husband fax it alos. OUTRAGIOUS! Now to boot they are sending me a bill that I owe $30.92. Again I have called 3 times to talk to Brittany about this because I do not feel I should owe them ANYTHING. Keep getting told she will call me... no call so I texted today and still waiting for a call. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. They are so unprofessional. Funny thing is I left a review on Nextdoor and someone else had the same problem with them before surgery. read more

I am not really sure where to start here. I just moved out here and needed to find a new primary care. I called and scheduled an annual wellness exam which my insurance covers 100%. the office billed this claim incorrectly. I have called several times in the last month to have a corrected claim sent to my insurance, no one has assisted with this. I am still waiting on a Response. My insurance provider gives incentives when we do our annual wellness exams, so not only am I being billed for an appointment that should be covered 100%, I am also not getting the incentive. the last representative I spoke to constantly interrupted me and raised her voice at me to where I had no choice but to match her tone to get her to let me speak. I told her it was much more frustrating for me than for her which she responded, "I will document this in your notes". Well, at least one of them documented my call because every time I've called they have told me several times there was no record of me calling. Now I am getting another bill for a follow up appointment (my previous provider did not bill me for these result follow ups because they are results that can be discussed over the phone). I canceled future appointments and I will just drive an hour to my previous provider because it seems like this company just wants to take your money. The NP is usually saw that I really likes was no longer working there, Daniel Ballard. The woman they put me with was dismissive of my symptoms. She asked me what some medications were for and I said bipolar she immediately went to anxiety. I said I wasn't anxious and she said it could be two other things only after I asked what else it could be. I will never see Nixon again. Given the choice between seeing her or not having care I would pick no treatment. She made me feel stupid and embarrassed. She ended with, why did you come in. read more

Been going to Stripes on Ellsworth for 10 years. Since opening the new Ironwood office the customer service it has disintegrated. The phlebotomists there is very nice and good, however being able to get the results reprehensible. Twice they have lost my husbands and now mine. Getting billing done to correct insurance companies is a joke. read more

I went in for blood work, & there was a sign saying only taking certain insurances. So I wait in line to figure out if they are taking mine, which they were not. I walk up & the lady asks me to sign in, I told her I didn't have an appt she then interrupted me & told me to sign in & she'll get to me when I'm ready. Walked away then 5 mins later comes back & I go to hand her my insurance to check if I have the right insurance to get blood drawn. She sits down & says step to the side I deal with you when I'm ready. Then helps 2 other people that was behind me. Then finally after 15 mins of being there she asks me what insurance I have. I usually go to the gold canyon office, & they are way more respectful & helpful there. I've worked front desk for a different drs office & I would have never treated anybody the way I was treated today. read more

Came to this place as a first timer since I needed a new PCP. Overall, I would say it was a good experience. The receptionist was nice and welcoming. The doctor, Daniel, was caring and informative. The lady who took my blood pressure and heart rate was ehhh okay. But the reason I gave this place a 3 out of 5 stars is because of the decor/maintenance of this office. Man..... where do I start? When I walked in, it smelled like old people/sweat. It was not pleasant. There is no AC. Atleast not in the lobby nor in the room I waited for to been seen by Daniel. The paint looks boring and needs a touch up. Their tv didn't work. The ceiling is dirty, you can see dust collecting. The room that I waited in, was pretty run down. From the sink to the cabinets to even the chairs. Honestly, this place is calling for a make-over. It just looks old and beat down. I will be giving this place another shot due to the customer service being great. read more

Horrible customer service. Had an appointment and it seemed to go well. Was Sent to get lab work and X-rays but 2/3 months later never received a call back with the results for anything. Finally gave them a call and they admitted to dropping the ball and said they would look into it and give me a call. 3 weeks later nothing. Called back again and they said their MA forgot to give a call again. Finally requested records never returning to any of their offices. read more
