The standout for me however, was the milk chocolate peanut butter buc-ee logo chocolate bar. It was pure joy! The absolute best thing I had eaten in ages when it comes to chocolate. We came during breakfast and we only got to try the brisket taco, tater tots, and Dr Pepper slushie but the taco alone was phenomenal. They had fresh brisket that they cut and then made the tacos right in front of us. If you're able to grab one of the hot and freshly cut brisket tacos for breakfast they are so juicy and good!! The rest of the store is amazing too! Of course we couldn't leave without a couple of souvenirs like every flavor of the jerky, Buc-ee's plushie keychain, pen and magnet. Everything was surprisingly affordable for branded merch! The staff were also very friendly and helpful even though there were so many customers. Definitely a great attraction and would come again!

As I entered the store I was returning an item and did not have a bag. When I walked in store with the item Abram assured me it was okay to proceed to line. I wanted to make sure there was no suspicious activity of stealing due to no bag of entering store and getting in line. As I proceeded to cash register ABRAM greeted me with a smile, completed the return in which I had a receipt and made sure all of my needs were met. They never really communicated with the customers on why it closed for nearly a year. They just disappeared into thin air. Then all of a sudden it opened back up under ownership. I'll be the first to say that it's not the same at all. They don't have most of the things I used to purchase before the first one closed. For example, I used to always order Oreo vanilla shakes. Now they don't serve them anymore. I used to always stop there to get a few Powerade or Gatorade drinks for the road. They don't sell those anymore. The last time I stopped there for a Powerade, they said the only fruit-type drink available was Calypso. I reluctantly order one of the Calypso drinks and the kid proceeds to hand me a HOT one. It's 120 degrees outside and they give me a hot drink. I asked him why he gave me a hot Calypso and he said sorry and gave me a small cup of ice for my troubles. That's not going to win you any customers. I also forgot to add that I came up one morning to try the new chicken biscuit sandwich. This was around 830 or 845. So I was assuming that they'd have plenty of breakfast ready. Nope. They told me it was going to take 20 minutes to make the sandwich. Luckily I had to stop home and was going to pass by again, so I told them I'd be back. I reluctantly came back to get the sandwich. It was tasty, but it shouldn't have taken 20 minutes to make it. I'm willing to bet it won't take Tim Horton's 20 minutes to make a breakfast sandwich. I'm trying my best to support Farm Stores, but this new regime is clearly cutting corners on supplies and everything else the old regime had. It's not the same place as it was before. Not even close.
