That is convenient if you want to get gas as well as grab some hot food or dinner from the food truck while you're there! The Exxon gas stations in Virginia where I reside don't offer those perks. For that matter no gas stations in Virginia offer those perks!!.. I would definitely recommend stopping here in Katy, Texas for gas and more!.

I received a Buc-ee's dog leash as a gift, and the very first time I used it, it broke. Luckily, I have a good boy and didn't run off, which could have easily turned into a dangerous situation. I went back to the store looking for an exchange, not even a refund, and that's where things got super weird and frustrating. I was told by the Manager Miah that without a receipt, nothing could be done. But, in the same conversation, she told me the item would also need to be in "resellable condition." .... HMMMMM.... wait, that doesn't make much sense. Let me get this straight, if the product is defective and broke on first use, how would it ever be resellable? BUuuuuuut if I did have a receipt, suddenly the broken leash is acceptable for exchange? The logic just didn't add up. Miah then insisted on stressing "store policy" and that she could lose her job for making an exception. But isn't store policy to satisfy your customers and provide them with an experience that makes them want to return. That's hard to believe that taking care of a customer over a clearly defective $20 item would be a fireable offense. Come on guys, where is the use of basic common sense. The most disappointing is that I've been a loyal Buc-ee's customer. Every year before visiting family overseas, we spend $100's of dollars on Buc-ee's merchandise, snacks, and gifts to take with us. It's been a tradition, one that ended today. Completely shocked that a company valued at over $2 Billion would choose to stand firm over a $20 defective leash. How about you guys do a better job training management to handle situations like this with a little flexibility and customer-first thinking vs. scaring them into losing their jobs, which loses customers! I used to enjoy shopping at Buc-ee's, but after this experience, I def. will not be back!

As I entered the store I was returning an item and did not have a bag. When I walked in store with the item Abram assured me it was okay to proceed to line. I wanted to make sure there was no suspicious activity of stealing due to no bag of entering store and getting in line. As I proceeded to cash register ABRAM greeted me with a smile, completed the return in which I had a receipt and made sure all of my needs were met. They never really communicated with the customers on why it closed for nearly a year. They just disappeared into thin air. Then all of a sudden it opened back up under ownership. I'll be the first to say that it's not the same at all. They don't have most of the things I used to purchase before the first one closed. For example, I used to always order Oreo vanilla shakes. Now they don't serve them anymore. I used to always stop there to get a few Powerade or Gatorade drinks for the road. They don't sell those anymore. The last time I stopped there for a Powerade, they said the only fruit-type drink available was Calypso. I reluctantly order one of the Calypso drinks and the kid proceeds to hand me a HOT one. It's 120 degrees outside and they give me a hot drink. I asked him why he gave me a hot Calypso and he said sorry and gave me a small cup of ice for my troubles. That's not going to win you any customers. I also forgot to add that I came up one morning to try the new chicken biscuit sandwich. This was around 830 or 845. So I was assuming that they'd have plenty of breakfast ready. Nope. They told me it was going to take 20 minutes to make the sandwich. Luckily I had to stop home and was going to pass by again, so I told them I'd be back. I reluctantly came back to get the sandwich. It was tasty, but it shouldn't have taken 20 minutes to make it. I'm willing to bet it won't take Tim Horton's 20 minutes to make a breakfast sandwich. I'm trying my best to support Farm Stores, but this new regime is clearly cutting corners on supplies and everything else the old regime had. It's not the same place as it was before. Not even close.
