He smarted off and said, they are all being used. 5 min later, slowing moving employee came out and started cleaning the showers from previous users. After he cleaned 3, he hit some buttons and my number was called. The showers were not being used. They were just not worried about cleaning them and keeping the line moving. Poor customer service

I was trying to make small talk with the cashier while she was frustrated because my card was constantly being declined. I had the proper amount of money in my account to pay for what I needed but still declined. The cashier became extremely frustrated and started rolling her eyes at me when I was trying to make small talk. This woman should not be working in a place like this and neither should her gay counterpart who was staring me down. I asked him if he had a problem and she said, "You can go now and get the f*ck out of here. They were both disgraceful idiots incapable of respecting someone else. Never again will I step in to this dirty smelly store. I have schizophrenia and my illness added fuel to their fire. They looked upon me like a dangerous bug that needed to be stomped out. Tap pay works with credit cards. There is a Phillips 66 gas station available. Parking is free with plenty of space out front or on the sides. Maybe someday soon I'll get up the courage to try their Laredo Taco Company which is inside all Stripes stores...

On August 11, 2023, was the first time I had ever stopped to get fuel at this station. I never realized there was a small convenience store attached. An attendant came out to check on the fuel pump next to me. One of the pumps was out. Here were the prices per gallon that mid-morning: Unleaded = $3.64 Unleaded Plus = $3. 94 Super Unleaded = $4.24 Diesel = $3.96 Easy place to get in and out of even for larger vehicles, but it maybe a little harder if towing a trailer. Tighter fit. Straight across from Walmart. Wells Fargo ATM with a super stupid small drive-thru even for a Jeep. Several eateries in the vicinity including Rosa's Cafe next door. TIP Members save up to 10¢ per gallon* on fuel purchases with Walmart+ at Murphy USA and Murphy Express locations. I'm not a member, though. I used an major credit card.

It was a nice day on January 21, 2025, but the forecast called for extreme cold temperatures and snow... and wow, did Mother Nature deliver. As of this writing, it is the following Sunday. The snow at my house goes to my mid calf. There was one other gas station in this vicinity with ALL of its pumps out of order, so I eent here for the first time. The grounds were clean. Easy entrance and exit. I would only say that some of the buttons need replacing as they have been worn out considerably. Alon fuel prices per gallon that mid-morning: Diesel = $3.25 Unleaded = $2.44 Unleaded plus = $2.84 Supreme unleaded = $3.04 TIP: A propane bottle exchange station was out front.

On February 21, 2024, fuel by Alon was $2.90 for unleaded, $3.20 for unleaded plus, and $3.50 for super unleaded. The unleaded here is 87 instead of 86 octane which is at most pumps here in Hobbs, NM. My Jeep manual recommends 87. Big rigs have a separate fueling area on the north side that is accessible from two different entrances. The convenience store has all the basic necessities and the staff members are decent. Restrooms inside. Great pit stop heading east towards Texas or coming back home for me. TIP Open 24-hours a day. Happy Leap Day!
