This place is absolutely filthy! Walked in to disgusting smell, water and grime on the floor. They serve food here, if they can't keep the lobby and restrooms clean I'd hate to witness what happens behind the scenes. Pumps covered in grime and stained with years of dust and oily residue. read more

5 stars are given in accordance with their spacious and clean truck parking area. HOWEVER; a star is taken out because for their restrooms always wreak of urine and isn't the cleanest in general, and for some reason, it doesn't matter what day or time of day I come; their taco place always look like it's closed. Before I thought I just always came after closing, but no, they just never fully stock it if at all. Like, they don't even have any hot dogs ready to go, and I detest hot dogs. When I came in to hopefully get some food, there were 3 other truckers wandering about trying to sneak peaks to see if they were open or not. And at 10am on a Saturday morning, we're still not sure. Poor fuel stop. No customer service. Had to hunt down the attendant several times to fuel. Attendant told me the cash price was 6 cents cheaper and than charged me full price. In these times of helping others and especially truck drivers, the Stripes convenience store in 1723 US HWY 285 Fort Stockton, TX has closed their doors, they are not allowed to bathe or use the toilets, the staff has no mercy on them, the drivers They are far from their homes not because they want to but because they are essential workers, it suits Stripes that they are there for the consumption of Diesel and the consumption of food, and although I know that there should not be more than 10 people in an I think that if they were spoken to in a more humanitarian way it would be better, the staff of that store does not care about customer service or the well-being of these drivers who would like to be able to be at home in these times of crisis. Unbelievable gross. They have so sope in the bathrooms. Yup completely out and they serve food. I watched 6 men come out of the stalls from taking a number 2 just to find out there is no sope. Then the walked out and went straight to the fountain drinks. Cesspool. To boot the bathrooms have toilets all over the floor which look to have human waist all over them. What are the best gas stations I've been too in a long time on I-10. This place has fresh handmade original breakfast tacos from a taco business inside. Has a lot of lot of convenience food and also a good truck stop for truckers. The truckers have their own area to fill up and take care of their own needs. A welcome oasis on those long trips through West Texas. There are plenty of gas pumps, so no waiting. There are lots of snacks and drinks inside to satisfy your hunger and thirst. They have a good selection of jerky, which is my road trip go to food. There's even tables and seating so you can sit and have your goodies inside, and not have to eat in the car. A nice option when you want some ice cream or anything else that's messy to eat. It was clean and the bathrooms were taken care of so no worries there. I was excited to know that there was a Stripes in my path especially one with a Laredo Taco Company inside. What a flipping joke this place is the entire store is filthy and loaded with uncaring staff especially management. Walked in at 7:20pm all ten tables have discarded trays and spilled food on them, trash scattered all about the place but of course the trash can is overfilled to the point there's actually the ash piled in front of it. Very limited selection in the food bar and absolutely no fruit and salsa bar a very obvious lack of leadership exists in this store. The bathrooms are just as bad one working urinal and one working commode with shit smeared toilet paper scattered all about. The person claiming to be the manager, looked like he could not be bothered to address any of the issues within his store simply stating that he is only one person! Do yourselves a favor and avoid this place! Corporate is being contacted as well! read more
