Wow, so disappointing! First, I try to get gas. The first pump won't take Apple Pay, so I insert my card. It finishes authorizing, tells me to remove my card, which I do, but then won't complete so I give up and go to a different pump. Similar issue with Apple Pay (which I NEVER have issues with) so again, I insert a physical card which works at this pump. I go inside to use the restroom. Another surprise, unfortunately not a good one. The restroom is in a rundown state. We look at getting a quick snack, but the hotdogs that are available look like they should have been removed yesterday. Overall, the appearance is of a business that is rundown and not kept clean. NOT RECOMMENDED! read more

The most dirtiest place I have been in a long time. Smells like sewer has backed up in the store. No concerns from employee, does not look short handed just a lot of employees standing around. This store is a health hazard and needs to be turned into the heath department and shut down. It is a shame that Stripes has no concerns. Very poor business model. All management all the way to the top should loose there job. read more

If you've ever heard the jokes and funny songs about dirty gas stations, this is the gas station they were talking or singing about. Holy moly!! This place is disgusting! The store is dirty, the bathrooms are putrid, the taco food prep was area looked so dirty you didn't even wanna smell the food. Even the gas pumps were filthy. It looked like someone sprayed all the pumps in diesel fuel and left them like that for years. The only reason I came to this gas station was because I accidentally passed my usual stop. Won't make that mistake again! read more

We stopped here for gas and to wash our windshield from traveling 500 miles. Everything was clean! The bathrooms are stocked and clean! They have plenty of snacks and meals on the go and a delicious looking Mexican buffet style looking. Even a Redbox if you're staying at a hotel that has dvds in them for the kids! read more

Stripes - a view of a store from inside a car - Convenience Stores Near Me - Fort Stockton, Texas

This has to be the most dilapidated, crappiest, neglected Stripes that I have ever been to. For some reason, immediately when you walk in it smells like somebody put butt in your face. ( | ) Look through the food items that they are supposed to sell like the hot dogs that are rotating and they are not existent. O U T out!, the guys behind the counter look like they are trying to sell dry food with half of everything already running out and I guess they're cooker or oven is also out which I overheard him saying. At least you can get gas here but I hope it's not watered down. Must mark this place as a " pass this one up." read more

Stripes - the front of a store with cars parked in front of it - Convenience Stores Near Me - Fort Stockton, Texas

I had to go back to get one bottle of water and James was kind enough to let me buy one. This place is good but not friendly enough My wife just came out bathroom and said it need to be clean. It is really gross to go bathroom.( I am man and woman bathroom should be more clean than man) read more

Stripes - Price of water - Convenience Stores Near Me - Fort Stockton, Texas

Staff super nice!! It was hot and staff allowed me to feed my kids inside in the AC with my food. After a long day of traveling it's nice to come across lovely people. Thank you! read more

Horrible!!!!!! I went in to pay for fuel, all employees in the back standing around looking at each other while there are 8 people in line. I waited for 5 minutes without even being acknowledged. Dont waste your time, get your fuel elsewhere! read more

The tacos at this place were ok but the rice was soaked in oil and wasn't cooked properly. The refried beans were not that great. Won't be eating here again. read more

This place is absolutely filthy! Walked in to disgusting smell, water and grime on the floor. They serve food here, if they can't keep the lobby and restrooms clean I'd hate to witness what happens behind the scenes. Pumps covered in grime and stained with years of dust and oily residue. read more

5 stars are given in accordance with their spacious and clean truck parking area. HOWEVER; a star is taken out because for their restrooms always wreak of urine and isn't the cleanest in general, and for some reason, it doesn't matter what day or time of day I come; their taco place always look like it's closed. Before I thought I just always came after closing, but no, they just never fully stock it if at all. Like, they don't even have any hot dogs ready to go, and I detest hot dogs. When I came in to hopefully get some food, there were 3 other truckers wandering about trying to sneak peaks to see if they were open or not. And at 10am on a Saturday morning, we're still not sure. Like, at least post the hours of operation or something, instead of making us all guess. read more

Poor fuel stop. No customer service. Had to hunt down the attendant several times to fuel. Attendant told me the cash price was 6 cents cheaper and than charged me full price. I used my ATM instead of my credit card. I was finally able to speak with Tami the manager. She was so unapologetic and told me to read the sign. This place will ripe you off if they can and they did, read more

In these times of helping others and especially truck drivers, the Stripes convenience store in 1723 US HWY 285 Fort Stockton, TX has closed their doors, they are not allowed to bathe or use the toilets, the staff has no mercy on them, the drivers They are far from their homes not because they want to but because they are essential workers, it suits Stripes that they are there for the consumption of Diesel and the consumption of food, and although I know that there should not be more than 10 people in an I think that if they were spoken to in a more humanitarian way it would be better, the staff of that store does not care about customer service or the well-being of these drivers who would like to be able to be at home in these times of crisis. God bless all the essential workers who are still working for the benefit of humanity right now. read more

Unbelievable gross. They have so sope in the bathrooms. Yup completely out and they serve food. I watched 6 men come out of the stalls from taking a number 2 just to find out there is no sope. Then the walked out and went straight to the fountain drinks. Cesspool. To boot the bathrooms have toilets all over the floor which look to have human waist all over them. Save your self food poisoning or even a horrible sickness. Go somewhere else. read more

What are the best gas stations I've been too in a long time on I-10. This place has fresh handmade original breakfast tacos from a taco business inside. Has a lot of lot of convenience food and also a good truck stop for truckers. The truckers have their own area to fill up and take care of their own needs. Good job of placing a good gas station right by I-10. read more

A welcome oasis on those long trips through West Texas. There are plenty of gas pumps, so no waiting. There are lots of snacks and drinks inside to satisfy your hunger and thirst. They have a good selection of jerky, which is my road trip go to food. There's even tables and seating so you can sit and have your goodies inside, and not have to eat in the car. A nice option when you want some ice cream or anything else that's messy to eat. It was clean and the bathrooms were taken care of so no worries there. It's a good place to stop on your way through town. read more

Yeah most of the people there all high and top of it they don't take the employees drug test.

I was excited to know that there was a Stripes in my path especially one with a Laredo Taco Company inside. What a flipping joke this place is the entire store is filthy and loaded with uncaring staff especially management. Walked in at 7:20pm all ten tables have discarded trays and spilled food on them, trash scattered all about the place but of course the trash can is overfilled to the point there's actually the ash piled in front of it. Very limited selection in the food bar and absolutely no fruit and salsa bar a very obvious lack of leadership exists in this store. The bathrooms are just as bad one working urinal and one working commode with shit smeared toilet paper scattered all about. The person claiming to be the manager, looked like he could not be bothered to address any of the issues within his store simply stating that he is only one person! Do yourselves a favor and avoid this place! Corporate is being contacted as well! read more
