I was turning south into a little populated area of Texas and didn't know what the supply of gasoline or prices would look like. so I pulled into a place ive visited in other areas before, The Flying J, to fill up. I also realized a few beverages id brought from home required a bottle opener. So while the truck filled, I went inside to get a couple of things and see if they had an opener. After looking and not finding I ask the counter clerk for assistance and she looked at the other clerk like...whats a bottle opener. She then turned to me and said if we have one it would be right down that way. Waving over towards the taquito and hot dog roller isle! AS i pursued the instant-relief headache packets and Tums, there it was! A tray is full of back scratchers. An aside. I've had an itch in the middle of my back i can't rtelescoping extension I thought..Sold. Then I noticed the center of the monster's hand was V-shaped. No, I thought! Is it possible the back scratcher doubles as a bottle opener? Turns out Yes! perfect! So I decided to drink while driving. Fever Tree Ginger Ale that is. Thank you Flying J Travel Center!!!!! The drink machine was sticky enough to trap a small animal, and I'm pretty sure my shoes gained weight walking past it. Step outside and it didn't get much better. Trash overflowing everywhere like the cans just threw their hands up. And the dog park -- which should be amazing -- was a minefield of dog turds from every breed known to mankind. Two stars because at least the lights were on. Everything else needs some serious attention.

Walmart gas prices were cheaper than most gas stations that I visited so far on my TX road trip. Their gas prices were pretty comparable to the Love's and Pilot gas stations though. This Walmart gas have 2 pumps per aisle which is average. It wasn't very big though... I think about 12 pumps. It also has a very small food mart. I am glad that I can pump Walmart gas without having the Sam's Club membership. Thank you Walmart!

We are currently out of Unleaded and Unleaded Plus." Watched people drive up to the pumps and then leave; apparently they couldn't read or understand the first two words on the signs: "Fuel Available." There weren't any lines, so there were certainly enough pumps for everyone who could read and understand the signs. Everyone was pumping Premium gas, which was at a great price at that time: $3.05. We can only imagine how much cheaper Unleaded and Unleaded Plus prices would have been had they been in supply. The fuel station was clean too.

The…read morewomen's bathroom had toilet tissue, urine, feces, blood, used tampons and sanitary napkins all over the floor and inside the toilets. It appeared none of the toilets flushed since they were all full. The trash cans were also all full and overflowing. We left and went across the highway to Loves truck stop instead. I spoke to another customer and she said the bathrooms are always this nasty. I would not recommend stopping here. 0 Stars if I could!

The store is dirty, the bathrooms are putrid, the taco food prep was area looked so dirty you didn't even wanna smell the food. Even the gas pumps were filthy. It looked like someone sprayed all the pumps in diesel fuel and left them like that for years. The only reason I came to this gas station was because I accidentally passed my usual stop. Won't make that mistake again!

Bathrooms (at least the guys' bathroom) was clean. Showers are available. Not sure of the cost as I didn't need a shower at this time. The staff was friendly and helpful.
