10/20/21 We are headed to California on the I-10 just…read moredesperately trying to get through this massive 800 plus miles of Texas. Man oh Man! The roads go on and on and on. Hubby says, "there's a Chevron." Pull in, I say. I had my mind on Coffee. That's all I need to help me get through this night of driving. I had to look at my empty cup just now, to verify the name of the gas station. KENT KWIK!!!! Well, the verdict is in on your coffee. Medium roast with cream and sugar. 5 STARS. It tasted so fresh, hot and amazing and I'm a Starbucks snob. So yummy. I hope it keeps me up tonight. The Middle Aged woman that said she used to live in Blythe Ca struck up a nice conversation, with me. She was friendly and efficient. They said Texans aren't friendly. Well now I know she had California roots. LOL! She's nice. All in all, Bathrooms we're excellent clean, and the store well stocked for looky Lou's. The coffee tho! It sounds like it grinds the bean and then brews it. It's so fresh and delicious.

While traveling through Texas we needed to fuel up so we decided to stop at this Shell station. The…read moregas prices here were reasonable and the convenience store was great. The store had a ton of items and the bathrooms at this station were very clean. Even though these are great features of the station, the best part had to be the staff. As we were shopping and checking out, the employees were super personable and had us laughing so hard. We enjoyed stopping here and we would make this a routine stop if we were local.

The gas price is not too bad but it's not the best either. The cashier was very polite .read more

After my restroom break at Walmart in Fort Stockton, TX, I thought I might as well get some gas…read moreeven though the car had a little bit more than half of gas left. Walmart gas prices were cheaper than most gas stations that I visited so far on my TX road trip. Their gas prices were pretty comparable to the Love's and Pilot gas stations though. This Walmart gas have 2 pumps per aisle which is average. It wasn't very big though... I think about 12 pumps. It also has a very small food mart. I am glad that I can pump Walmart gas without having the Sam's Club membership. Thank you Walmart!

Stopped here 9 weeks ago for the least expensive gasoline that we found using the GasBuddy app…read more There was a sign posted at all of the gas pumps stating "Fuel Available. We are currently out of Unleaded and Unleaded Plus." Watched people drive up to the pumps and then leave; apparently they couldn't read or understand the first two words on the signs: "Fuel Available." There weren't any lines, so there were certainly enough pumps for everyone who could read and understand the signs. Everyone was pumping Premium gas, which was at a great price at that time: $3.05. We can only imagine how much cheaper Unleaded and Unleaded Plus prices would have been had they been in supply. The fuel station was clean too.

Well, I had to fill up before heading out to continue my road trip…read more While this place is a Shell, their price for gas was a bit cheaper than some of the other stations in the area. However, since Texas is an oil producing state, I was surprised that everywhere in the area was $3.09 + / gallon. I was not able to check in here because the store did not have Circle N advertised, but only Shell Food Mart. And, a general Yelp search by gas stations did not reveal the store. It was only when I got my receipt and looked at it, and typed in Circle N, did the business show up.
