As well as a good selection of pedals and amps. As would be expected, they also sell PA equipment, drums and mixers, as well as a pretty hefty selection of used gear. The store also has six (I believe) teaching rooms, and a number of guitar and bass teachers. My former guitar teacher is now working there. As expected, they do repairs on musical equipment. There are a couple of reasons I am giving them four stars instead of five: 1)Their pricing isn't too competitive. 2)The owner does not like "random jamming" on the guitars, because they wear on them a bit. While this is a perfectly valid point, every other music shop I've been to will let anybody borrow a cable and pick and play with their guitars whenever they want. Why? Because they'll buy sooner or later. 3)The brother of one of my neighbors bought a Les Paul guitar there, and brought it in for service on something that was under warranty, and they would not honor the warranty. While I certainly don't know the whole situation, it's still something to consider.

We wanted a teacher who was a good fit, so asked about trial. It's a PAID trial, but in my opinion very worth while to make sure it's a fit for both instructor and student. My son liked the instructor very much. When I called to enroll, I was told we had to pay an "enrollment fee". However, the offer online was NO enrollment fee and FREE book for summer classes. The owner told me it ONLY applies to families that don't do a trial lesson. Because I had a complimentary trial, I DO have to pay enrollment fee and buy all books. I'm not a fan of bate and switch. I looked back at the offer and it didn't say anything about paid trials disqualifying the offer. How is the trial complementary if we paid full price for it...... Needless to say, we went just down the street for a true free trial and are making pure rock music with a much better music school that has many more instructors, more economical rates and are honest!! I can't in good faith recommend this music school.

My seven-year old child took piano lessons with Chrissy for about three months. I found Chrissy to…read morebe a disengaged and fairly dour teacher. My child's typical remarks were about how grumpy and strict she was. Rescheduling missed classes was difficult and once when we were able to reschedule, she had not put it on her calendar. We eventually asked to end classes in mid-December 2022, but then received a full charge for January 2023. When we asked about this, we were told that we should have read our contract more carefully, because 30 days notice was required when cancelling lessons. Because apparently it takes a month to coordinate losing a student in a group class setting? Did not enjoy having to pay for a month-and-a-half of classes we did not take. Overall, a very negative experience and we will happily seek out piano lessons elsewhere.

Mike texted back a few days later rather late, asking if I still need a tune. Duh! that's why I left a voicemail. I was patient anyways and asked him to text me some times when he would be available to tune. (Although I think calling me would have been more professional since that's how I contacted him first and that's just what you do in business, you CALL people to gain a clear understanding of what they want/need.) Well, I never heard from him for any appointment times so I set up service with another company. If you're too busy to call back or whatever the reason, at least let your customers know. I will never recommend Mike to anyone. Kind of sad my experience was negative before I even met the guy.
