This place doesn't specialize in guitars (they have drums, pianos, basses, etc.) but they have a decently sized selection of guitars. Pat Rutland, the owner, talked with me for almost two hours about guitars. The man knows his stuff. He came off a bit pretentious at first. However, later in out conversation it became apparent to me that he is just trying to spread his knowledge on the subject. Mr. Rutland knows a great deal about the technical aspects of guitar building and was eager to answer any questions I had about guitars. Friendly service, but the prices were slightly higher than I was used to. This is to be expected from a nonchain, though, so I'm happy with my experience.

My girls take guitar lessons here and I am amazed at how quickly they have learned and begun to continually play new music. They take it to the next level at this store by teaching the kids not only music, but also the importance of making good grades at school (this is a stipulation for continuing lessons), the importance of serving our community, and just everyday great values that will help them grow into great human beings:). I already paid what they had listed online plus shipping and they were dismissive and rude. I've checked my accounts and they have made no attempt to initiate a refund yet, but they were very quick to cancel the order. I dug around online apparently they do this to multiple people so it's not a one time thing I would stay away from at the very least buying anything online from them.
