I recently purchased a tuxedo rental for my cousins wedding. The tuxedo pants came hemmed at 22 inches in length and the two pant legs were hemmed at different lengths. The tag had the pants listed at 32-30 yet the pants actually looked like capris. I called in my order which made the process of getting correct pant sizes more difficult, but still, the pants should have reflected the size listed on the tag. The entire wedding was delayed and one mother of the wedding party had to come into my hotel room and take out the pants and re-hem them. My brothers pants were also incorrectly hemmed. We placed a few pins in the pants and the show went on. This problems caused unwanted stress on the entire party. I would strongly implore anyone to consider using tuxedo services at Jos A Bank or Men's Warehouse when renting. Michelle's lacks significant attention to detail. Michelle sent me this message... Michelle M: Nathan, "We suggest to everyone when they call in their measurements rather than coming to be professionally measured to be fitted. We have an in-house seamstress and we would have more than happy to make this correct. We do not house the tuxedos. We also rent them from a company who takes our word on the measurements. First I contacted the shop several times to see if they would send me pictures on Facebook of the dresses they had available for a 2 month old. They said they would send me pictures several times but never did. I finally made it out of the house for a Long country drive with two children to this store. There were only two dresses available. I'm extremely disappointed that I spent $214.00 on a dress for my 2 month old only to discover days later that part of the beading on the front was missing. If I ever go back I'm going to pay close attention to the details even if my children are running around the store like crazy because apparently they are more than ok with selling a dress with flaws for an outrageous amount. read more

I stopped by with full intention of buying a dress for an event I have in a couple of weeks. Upon arrival the staff was nice but showed ZERO interest in assisting me in my purchase even upon asking for help the girl pointed out one dress and then continued to take pictures of herself on snapchat that's a pretty great way to treat a customer who came in with plans to spend five six and even seven hundred dollars on a dress... Needless to say I left without a dress and will NEVER be back to Michelle's... I probably should have read Yelp first... read more

I bought my prom dress from here one year, and I refuse to ever buy a dress from them again. If you do buy a dress from here, I suggest you take it somewhere else for alterations. I bought my dress in February. My prom was not until April; however, it was too long. The seamstress suggested she iron out all of the layers underneath, and that should fix it. It did not. She was not finished with my dress until a week before my prom, so I did not have any time to get my dress taken up. I was tripping over myself the entire night, and $30 was too much for her to just iron a few layers and take two months doing so. The dress itself was entirely overpriced. read more

I bought a dress from Michelle's a few days ago because I am on homecoming court. I was under the impression that I had to wear a formal dress in the parade that I had to attend. I was wrong. I did not know this information until a few days after I purchased the $1000 dress that had not even been taken out of the protective coverings yet. I called Michelle's to ask if I could return it since it was a true misunderstanding. They flat out REFUSED. They were rude and really put ruined the whole experience for me since I could no longer spend any more money than I already had. Needless to say, I will NEVER be going there again. read more

My husband rented a tux here for a wedding we were in last weekend. He called in his measurements due to the fact that we don't live anywhere near Adel, GA. This, unfortunately, was out of our hands. Thankfully we went to a trusted, well-known place, Men's Warehouse to obtain the measurements. He pulled out the pants of the tuxedo only to find that they were poorly hemmed, at different lengths, right below the knee. His and his brothers were the exact same way. The reason I said poorly hemmed were because as soon as my husband put his foot into the pant leg, it completely ripped the hem out, other than the fact they were, as I said, two inches in length different. Thankfully, the wedding planner was able to pull the rest of the hem out and attempt at hemming them at the appropriate length. Before the accusation that we didn't read the appropriate measurements to the person on the phone arises, I listened to my husbands entire conversation (we had a bad feeling about having to read measurements in and I wanted to be sure he said them appropriately) and he checked and double checked that he had the appropriate measurements stated for everything, including length. On the ticket it said 38x30, which would be waist by height. So it's clear the correct size was stated, heard and even written down correctly, we are just unsure of why his pants came out 38x22? $160 for this tux was already pushing it with the quality, but to have it show up hemmed at the knee is a little crazy. read more
