Estimates were based on linear footage and included all material (LED lights, poles, etc.) needed for the installation. We had the lights installed in about 2020 ( not sure , may be 2021). We were told that the lights are all weather proofed with professional quality sockets. Unfortunately, they are not. Many of them are full of water now. I emailed the company but they did not even respond. The 2 stars are for a non responsive customer service and not the quality that was advertised. Update: I just got contacted by the company ( literally in 10 min after posting a review). They apparently did not get my email. He promised to come and replace the lights, he believes they were from a bad badge. I am adding back 2 more stars :). As a credit. :):) Update#2 The guy came TODAY and replaced ALL the lights. All is working now! Even left some spare ones. Adding ALL STARS BACK! By the way , the lights are great ( with no water in :):)). For these few years we had them - always enjoyed it! When we ordered the service from this company initially, they were on time and professional. So was the guy today! Cannot be happier at the end of the day. I think the responsive customer service is as important if not more as the service itself. This company gets my 5+ stars! read more

We had String Lights LA put lights up in our backyard a few weeks ago. They were so accommodating and did an amazing job! They gave us options about where the lights could be and helped us decide what would look best. Our yard not only has light to see at night, but it looks like a vacation spot! We had 2 trees wrapped and lights hung above in our seating area, all of which are connected to our phones to turn on and off as well as brighten or dim the lights for whatever ambiance we choose. The trees are on one device and the patio on another, so they can be turned on separately or at the same time. You get what you pay for. If you are looking for a cheap service, this isn't it. If you are looking for a service/product that looks professional and appears will last for a long time, use this company. The lights were strung professionally with a guide wire that is hardly visible. The install took about 5 hours so it is not a quick process. Also the lights are commercial lights so you don't have a bunch of individual strands connected together. After seeing the install I'm not concerned the lights will fall down during the first Santa Ana winds. And if they do, I have a warranty! One small tip, skip having them install the dimmer. You can find one on Amazon for about $40 and save yourself some money. read more

I found with String Lights a small company but with big heart. They responded quickly to my initial request for info. They did a beautiful job stringing up lights on my tree. When one string didn't work they came out and found the string had been cut. I suspect the local wildlife (squirrels or the local rats). They fixed it. No charge. I do recommend an initial meeting so they fully understand the scope of the work expected. Our tree is huge. And as a small company they need to know how best to support you. read more

Unfortunately I didn't have the best experience with String Lights LA. The crew's great, but I don't think they are qualified to do certain types of outdoor lighting jobs. We hired them to do an seasonal install for an outdoor holiday festival that was to operate for 5 weeks. When I first approached them about the job I made it clear that we wanted a permanent lighting install that would last us for the next few seasons. After paying more than $10k for the install the lights blew out on our opening night. They came to replace them but I had to pay another $1500 for a lift and their labor. In the end the last only worked properly two out of the five weeks. It was a complete waste of money. Now the only remedy I have to recover some of my losses is to file a suit. I would not recommend these guys for more complicated jobs. read more

They told me min charge is $1250 and to tell them an install date. The price is fine, cheaper than expected, but seems like they skipped a few steps.
