I told him I couldn't talk, he persisted, but I couldn't get him to call later. Next day I called him asking him to call me, to address questions I had on the setup and functionality of the timer. A week later, I haven't heard from him.

They definitely had experience and know-how about sprinklers and effectively repaired all of my broken pieces, along with providing grass-tips on how to revitalize and kick-start dead areas of grass. Two caveats: 1) Jim and Jill are typically booked because of how popular they are. So be ready to book them in advance for any projects. I wouldn't be so sure on securing them if something breaks and leaks while your sprinkler system is offline --call a 24hr service plumber instead. 2) Jim and Jill will give you verbal quote and it's an honest and trustworthy one. However you should probably treat this as an estimate, because during their repairs, they found a couple different problems with my sprinkler heads that they didn't anticipate and my price increased... just something to keep in mind; or get it in writing and have them sign that before they get to work, if you have a budget to keep. But it's not bad or anything-- they did a great job! - I'm giving an honest review, because most repair companies give a quote first in writing. Overall, I had a very nice experience with this Local couple 'Burbank Sprinklers'. They definitely know the neighborhood, know their sprinklers, and grass types. If you need your Sprinklers worked on, these guys are exactly what you need to get everything fixed! Not bad at all Burbank Sprinkler!

I was clear that some things might be some time before we could do or some things were just early ideas at this point, but Wayne listened, took notes, explained a couple of ways. But it never felt rushed or like he was eager to make a sale or talk me into anything, it was just a conversation with a really pleasant guy who knew a thing or two about electrical systems. (He also said he knew a few people he'd recommend for some of the smaller work, people who could handle the smaller jobs at a lower rate and might be able to fit us into the schedule quicker.) A few days later, we had two quotes - one for the immediate work to replace the panel and a second for the "larger" future project. We confirmed we wanted to move forward on the immediate project. He estimated it would be about a days' worth of work and he had an opening in his schedule about a week later. We cleared space and prepared for a day without power, but he did the work in such a way that most of our house still had power almost the entire time. As predicted, it took most of the day to install and then at the end, he worked to help me figure out where all the circuits went. We will totally be calling Wayne and Burbank Electric for our future electrical work.

While heading to my parent's house in Burbank to watch the Lakers, I drove past a home that had quite the festive Halloween light show going on. After the Lakers game, I drove past the home again but this time it had purple and gold lights. I was confused and had to ask my wife if I was imagining the orange halloween lights when we first passed (I was not). We stopped in front of the home and saw a sign that said "Tune to 88.3 to listen to the lights." Lo an behold, the lights were sequenced to Randy Newman's "I Love LA" which I thought was pretty cool. Given my wife is pregnant and I didn't want to hassle with a ladder by myself, I decided to request a quote for lights on my house via his website. The next morning I had a quote emailed to me with a link that included a video he had created of what his lights would look like on my house! I decided to take the plunge and Alex arranged for installation the next day. He said he would be by the house around noon and texted me a link that tracked his location, which I thought was a nice touch. Alex showed up on time, in uniform, and masked, which I appreciated. He spent the next several hours on installation and took the time to connect the system to my wifi so I could control on my phone. Payment was a breeze using his online invoicing. My toddler is absolutely mesmerized with the lights and I'm happy we get to use them for Halloween in addition to Christmas. The photos I took don't do the lights justice. I don't leave a lot of reviews but felt compelled to write one for Alex because his service was simply fantastic. He is the kind of person you want to succeed and I wish all my service providers ran their business like he does. In Burbank, we see a lot of wonderful holiday lights and decorations. I grew up celebrating Christmas and my wife is Jewish, so our setup in the past had been regular white lights for Christmas and a blue menorah in the window. Being stuck at home for quarantimes and having two young ones now old enough to enjoy, we decided to up our decoration game this year. Alex was able to customize our lights so we could have our traditional white, a wild multi-color sequence, and also a blue and white Hanukkah sequence. My son and daughter are mesmerized by the twinkling Alex built into the program. He also included a cool orange sequence for Halloween to make a subdued 2020 holiday a bit more festive. read more

If all contractors communicated the way Rudy does, half of the world's problems would probably be solved (ok, slight hyperbole). From start to finish, Rudy was incredibly communicative, knowledgeable, professional, and transparent. He let me know when he was heading to my house, when he arrived on the property, and when he left. I never had to wonder whether he was coming or if I had been ghosted by yet another contractor. He kept every appointment and did exactly what he said he was going to do. Apparently, this level of reliability does still exist! He was also extremely respectful and as another Yelper mentioned, never pushy about upselling me. He listened to what I wanted, worked with me, and offered ideas about what would look best in my backyard. I felt like I was getting genuine advice rather than a sales pitch. There are maybe one or two other people I've hired over the years whom I would gleefully recommend without hesitation. Rudy is now firmly on that very short list. If anyone I know needs bistro lights installed, I wouldn't just recommend him. I'd probably insist. My only complaint is that Rudy doesn't offer more services. I wish he were a roofer, carpenter, electrician, plumber, handyman...hell, at this point, I wish he did everything. I'd hire him for my entire house. Thank you sooooooo much Rudy and team. I was very pleased with the result of our speaker installation, everything sounds great, looks great, and all the equipment and wiring is hidden very gracefully. I would *100%* recommend this company, and I'm actually looking to see if there are other jobs in our yard that they can help with.
