This is a fine wing spot. Nothing to write home about, but not bad either. A safe choice for wings. The wings were kind of baby wings, not much meat. The fries were fine but needed salt. I'm usually on the hunt for good wings in nashville and surrounding areas. But this place wasn't it. The wings were small, cold and tasted like they were cooked hours before serving. The sweet and sassy sauce was good. The ranch fries were really good. But overall the place really lacked a lot. They automatically charge you 20% tip (so look at your bill) and the service wasn't worth 20%. This place is amazing for your wing needs and reminded me of the places back home in Atlanta where I would say most wings are consistently good there as it is a backbone of Atlanta culture. Which is what I've been setting my standard to. I've tried a lot of places in the Nashville area and could not find a go to spot until now (just a few other places as well). Strike Out Wingz is the worst experience I've had at any restaurant in the Nashville area. My boyfriend got food poisoning and the owner refused to give us a refund. This was my second time trying Strikeout Wingz. I first tried them at their original location and I was unimpressed. I decided to give them a second chance at the new location inside Plaza Mariachi. I went on a Thursday night around 8pm. I ordered 20 wings. Half was supposed to be wet lemon pepper and I asked for the second half to be sweet & sassy lemon pepper. I don't believe she heard me correctly based off my receipt. I received regular lemon pepper and sweet & sassy with no lemon pepper. I also ordered the Cajun ranch fries. I spent about $33. Once I ordered I noticed that there was about 4 other people waiting for their food and it looked like they all had been waiting for a long time. One man even requested a refund and left. I waited about 45 minutes for mine. I checked my order before I left and that's when I noticed it was wrong but I honestly didn't feel like waiting another 45 minutes so I didn't say anything. I will say that my wings were fried to my liking however I barely tasted any lemon pepper. My boyfriend's wings should've been cooked longer so we ended up throwing them into the air fryer. The fries were ok. A little too soggy and no seasoning. Based off my pictures you would think this was a great meal but no I will not be returning.
