I had appreciated how Dr. John interacted with his patients and he certainly treated me no differently. After my surgery, Dr. John was there every step of the way and provided realistic expectations for my recovery. While trying to shower with my post-surgical dressing, I accidentally got it wet and had to have an emergency visit for a dressing change - Dr. John got me all bandaged up in no time and I was on the road to recovery. Not to mention, my scar is almost non-existent! Dr. John speaks to his patients in terms they can understand and provides reasonable treatment options depending on the diagnosis. He used a small ultrasound machine in his exam room multiple times. However, my last last appointment, he used the ultrasound machine on both of my feet. Unbeknownst to me, I was charged for each foot. So my straightforward office visit cost me $101 for the office visit, $109 for the ultrasound on my right foot, plus $109 on my left foot, for a total out of pocket cost of $318. As a consumer, I disagree with being charged twice for a single use of the ultrasound machine.
