There are many good dentists in The Woodlands, yes, yadda, yadda, yadda. I get that. BUT, Dr. Aaron…read moreGlick, at Solomon Dental, is a young professional you should get to know. His education, back-ground, GPA, etc., etc., etc., are beyond reproach. "Cum Laude from Brandeis University, where he majored in Neuroscience, Psychology, and Biology. He then pursued his dental doctorate at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School and was in the top 10% of his class. As a dentist, he has achieved Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry, which is a distinction that less than 10% of dentists in the United States hold. He is also a Fellow of the International College of Oral Implantologists, a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine, and a Qualified Dentist of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine." All that's wonderful. I'm proud for him. BUT, that's not the point of this writing. What is exceptional in my mind, is Dr. Glick possesses the unique "chair side manor" of being able to translate the very technical nature of the problems/repairs/goals and objectives he and the team have discovered to a Real World, easy to understand explanation. And, with options. One can tell Dr. Glick genuinely cares for the welfare of his patients. I am absolutely convinced, because Dr. Glick choses to offer his great bundle of abilities to those of us in The Woodlands, we are the winners!

Don't see Dr. Helen Sergerie at Sagewood Dental for a serious problem, she can't do anything. At…read moreleast that's what she told me! About 6 mos ago,I came in for a cleaning and check up, which was fine. A week later I developed severe pain in a back molar that already had a root canal. Dr. Helen Sergerie diagnosed an infection and prescribed an antibiotic and told me the only tx was to pull the tooth. I asked her multiple times, isn't there any way to save the tooth? No, she said , it must be pulled and sent me to an oral surgeon. I was told the surgery involved IVs, implants, tooth replacements and 6 mos before I would be finished. I went home to consider and took the antibiotics for 4 days and when I was still having pain, I called Dr. Helen Sergerie to ask if another antibiotic would be more effective. She said, Sorry, there's nothing more I can do. Wow, never got that from a Dr before! I finished taking the antibiotics and every day used alot of Listerine and the infection with its pain went away. I wasn't sure about all that other tx so waited to see how the tooth did. 6 mos later, no problems but I needed another teeth cleaning so stupid me, went back to Sagewood. Yup. Got another infection with that same tooth. Well I couldn't believe that my tooth couldn't be saved so I went to my previous dentist at Sterling Ridge Dental. One look and Dr Cope said, absolutely, that tooth can be saved! He sent me to Advanced Clinical Endodontics, (ACE) and sure enough they performed a re-root canal and prescribed strong antibiotics and finally cleared up the infection and fixed the problem with the tooth. One day! Not 6 mos! Stay away from the revenue focused, Dr. Helen Sergerie.

Once you come in you see a social worker who tell yous what additional steps you need to take for approval. Once approved you can receive free services for a year without getting re-approved. I recently lost my job and health insurance so I was happy this resource is so close to home. I was approved and was able to see a doctor and get some blood tests for my thyroid condition free of charge. I also was able to get some prescriptions refilled for my asthma. They offer many services, such as: general medical visit, well-woman exams, chronic illness maintenance (diabetes), pediatric services, counseling, and dental service. Also, this is a very nice and clean building. I know when you think of community clinic often time horrible pictures come into your head but this clinic is pretty great.
