I had to send them the…read morecurrent IRS regulations to show them what I was inquiring about regarding residential energy credits (federal tax credits). I had to show them that they were still in effect, as they told me they had expired. I had a LOT more questions about those but figured if they did not know they were in effect, they would be poor answers. I gave them my taxes, all totaled into a tax organizer, to complete in mid-February, and they submitted an "Extension to File Taxes" in April without telling me. Communication? Phone? Email? Since I have never sent my taxes in after April 15th, I was pretty upset. They explained that they only did this to folks that were getting a refund, but if you owed taxes, they got 'em done by April 15. After I complained, one of the lead guys told me that I likely did not want to claim some of the expenses I had, as it could flag the IRS. That would have been nice to know before April 15. Communication? Phone? Email? Guess what? When I omitted those expenses, I OWE the IRS over $400. And these folks charged me over $300 for this "service", no price breaks for bad customer service. Unknown if I will have to pay a penalty for late filing, too.... Find another firm, I am looking for a decent tax adviser/service again now.

We worked with this firm for two years, and it proved to be a major setback for our operations. Despite being assigned a "QuickBooks expert," the firm failed to manage our Housecall Pro integration correctly--continually insisting we simply unlink it. As the business owner, I was eventually able to coordinate with the software providers myself and fix the integration settings within just two weeks. Because our books were not being reconciled monthly as promised, we were advised to file 2024 taxes that were admittedly inaccurate to avoid "correction costs." This resulted in us overpaying on our tax liability based on flawed data. After I hired an independent bookkeeper in late 2025, they uncovered over 700 uncategorized transactions dating back nearly a year. Most damagingly, the firm underpaid our Q3 and Q4 Texas state sales tax. I am now personally responsible for the resulting fines and penalties. Despite these documented failures, the firm still charged $1,000 for "work performed" during the period these errors occurred. When I reached out to the owner to dispute this, they refused to take any responsibility for the penalties their mistakes caused. If you value accurate bookkeeping and a firm that stands by their professional work, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

I couldn't be less satisfied and feel we did all their work for them. The response is comical and extremely vague to cover the truth. Blain is the office manager. She made that extremely clear by answering EVERY question with "I'm not a tax person so I'm not qualified to answer that". So in theory yes You were responsive but accomplished absolutely nothing. The phone call that I personally had with you, I had to ask you at least 10 times to quit interrupting as you tried picking apart every sentence I said. Instead of listening to the whole experience you were asking about, which would help you better understand that situation in entirety. But yall are a spam tax shop and nothing more from mmy experience. I got absolutely no tax advise. No tax strategy talk. I paid yall in full what you asked got months ago.
