7 3 2025 Update…read more I've been taking my vehicle to Valvoline probably my 10th to 15th trip now and I did not find out recently until last visit that they've been putting 0 to 20 weight in my vehicle when my Vehicles specifications are 0 to 50 weight oil. It even says it on Google and when I inquired the employee about this, he said that their computers states they are required 0 to 20 weight oil but it doesn't make sense (He even showed me). I asked him if there was an extra charge for an upgrade or something so I could make it right and he said no, so why wouldn't they put the recommended oil in a BMW so the engine isn't damaged in the long run? Now, I get that oil change places are like movie theaters in that they make a ton more $$ on up-selling accessories than they do the oil changes. What I didn't get is that 3 different people needed to be messing with my BRAND NEW wiper blades with your greasy hands. I finally had to roll down a passenger window to get the nonsense to stop. The $60 quote for my cabin air filter was hilarious! I took 60 seconds to go ahead and order a name brand one off Amazon for 1/3 that price. Do you want us to put air in your tires? No, they read at the exact pressure they're supposed to be, as shown on your report?? Manager appeared irritated that I pulled out my coupon at the end (maybe he just looks that way), but given that I'd had it sitting in the phone the whole time and nobody had ever asked for it? All-in-all a much slower experience than usual combined with a hope that they didn't unbolt something important under my hood.

This is completely unacceptable for a business that's supposed to take care of your vehicle. When I went back to address the issue, I spoke with the manager, Alex, and the experience only got worse. He was rude, dismissive, and refused to take any responsibility. Even after I showed proof of my rims' condition prior to the service, he continued to deny everything and make excuses, saying they service a lot of cars and this "never happens." The number of cars you handle is not an excuse for damaging someone's property. That's like we all eating chocolate and he gets in reaction and I say "we ate the chocolate nothing happened to us " everybody have different reaction to certain things . vehicle should be treated with care, and when something goes wrong, it should be handled with accountability and respect--neither of which I received. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Save your money and take your car somewhere that actually values its customers and takes responsibility for their work.

It may not be as cheap as the corner mechanic but at least you know you are paying for quality work and that it has a warranty if anything goes wrong. I gave 5 stars because of the personal touch. They have a prayer book in the corner. The waiting area and bathroom is clean. They offer you coffee while you're waiting. And they got the good creamers! Not the nasty powder stuff. The bathroom has a little basket with items to refresh yourself. Honestly was the best auto shop lounge area I've ever been in. I appreciate Bryan and Richard for taking care of my vehicle needs. I dropped my vehicle off while I was going out of town. When I returned, the car was not ready yet, as I had hoped to get it straight from the airport. I was thankful that they sent an Uber to take me back to the shop when the car was ready because I do not live close. It was only convenient to drop it there because it's not too far from IAH. Richard noticed something didn't sound right as I was about to leave and made sure it was fixed before I drove off.

Another employee this past Sunday (Jesse wasn't working on Sunday) said he could repair it but that he wasn't as good as Jesse at doing such and asked that I come back this week. Well I'm here this morning at 945am on 7/28 and was told by another employee that Jesse is in a meeting, and is tied up, until 1pm and to come back then. Well I've got a job too, and chasing Jesse around to fix a chip in my windshield isn't one of them. I'll never be back to this store again, for anything, they simply don't want the business! I'll find another business that fixes chips in windshields and is eager to do so.
