The first thing I want to say. I wish I would've known about Debbie & this shop thirty years ago. Debbie is a sweet heart who runs this shop. A dear friend recommended this wonderful shop to me. I was in a pinch. I needed my car. I've been in charge of feeding Hungry people every Sunday for years. My upper & lower mounts on my transmission were rusted & broke. As soon as I met Debbie. I felt like I was treated like one of the family. I can't believe how busy they were. Yet they ordered parts and installed that day. When they showed me the parts completely broken. I had no idea. Every Mechanic knows their job & gets it down in record time. I watched as every customer came through. You could tell everyone was as grateful as me for their expertise and kindness. Everyone there loves servicing clients and takes pride in doing their job. I have been telling my friends & would recommend them to anyone! I can't wait to see them to even get my oil changed or any other maintenance. Sincerely, Debbie Powers Org. for Debbie's Walk for Hunger & Weekly food Donations w/ Debbieswalk. P.S. I knew before I got there. From our phone conversation how good they were. Both of us have the same name Debbie! How cool is that! read more

They got my car in and out quickly, communicated throughout and were honest about my options for the repair. Thanks again!

Roger is a great mechanic! Personable, professional, and fair in his pricing and assessment. He made the usual headache of repair smooth and quick. He even walked us to the car to show us his progress and thoughts on next steps. I don't hope for more repairs but if I need them I'll definitely be back. read more

Rodger was AMAZING!! My car engine was overheating on the coldest, snowy day and he got it in immediately. He called frequently with updates and was extremely thorough in explaining all of the work he was doing. He was upfront about pricing and definitely was much more cost effective than any other mechanic or dealership. I added on an oil change last minute and he had no issues with completing it. I would HIGHLY recommend Rodger at Stricker Auto Repair for all of your car issues. This was my first visit, and it was SO much easier than working with the dealership or any other mechanic. I am so thankful I found Rodger in this stressful time! read more

I got in an accident and they replaced my radiator and fan. I was happy so my sister took her car there too. While doing an oil change they cut the sensors and didn't know how to fix them. Today I noticed a funny noise from my car and took it in elsewhere. Turns out the radiator and fan were incorrect for my car and they made some rig to make it work and it gave out. Now I have to go pay even more to have their mistake's corrected. This is truely upsetting to witness such poor buisness practices. If you don't know how to do something don't try and fix it. $1200 dollars flushed just to have to pay $2,500 elsewhere to fix what they broke and didn't fix properly. IF YOU VALUE YOUR CAR, YOUR MONEY, YOUR SAFETY GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. read more

This review is long overdue! I've been a customer of Debbie and her guys for almost two years now. They came to my rescue when I needed a major repair completed and took excellent care of me from start to finish. They kept in close communication with me, and I didn't feel like they were "ripping me off." Debbie and her guys have been the only ones to touch my car since. I used to work near the shop, so it was super convenient. Now, I make that drive from Florissant and usually take something to work on while I wait. I trust them, and they do great work! Totally worth the drive and the wait! read more

I brought my wife's van and found out that it needed some serious AC repairs. They quoted me a high price in order to not surprise me with a more expensive repair. They allowed me to buy my own parts and submit them and to be used, and I saved a couple hundred dollars that way. The final price was much less than their original estimate, they got the vehicle done in about a days time, and they were extremely professional and kind about the entire process. read more

Stricker Auto Repair - Auto Repair Near Me - Saint Louis, Missouri

called around the saint Louis area looking for a mechanic to replace my passenger side rear view mirror (hit and runs suck). first place never returned my call, second one took days to answer, mike from stricker auto here @ Hanley industrial returned my call within a few hours. said he'd do some digging to find a suitable replacement part. we set up a time to get this done. was quoted 320 for the part, and 75/hr labor ended up paying under 300 for everything - turns out the Lou Fusz dealer sent in an extra part. now as someone who knows near nothing about cars, I'm very wary of mechanics... so you can imagine my surprise (and gratitude) when I realized that because of their honesty, I ended up paying 25% less than what I was quoted for. and it was an OEM part to boot, straight from the dealer! these guys may not have the biggest, newest shop, or the most prominent internet presence... but Larry, bob, and mike are now my go to guys when I need car help! read more
