BBAC caught my eye from all the reviews of happy customers, being responsibly priced, and close-ish to my house. I called and made an appointment, they got me in fairly quickly (within 2-3 days). After dropping it off, I received a text with the estimate and okayed it right then and there. I needed a new hose/ ac system. I loved this easy way of communication. It was expensive, but after comparing prices with other spots and doing my research, it was a bit less than what others have been charged for the same. It was ready the next day, and it was so nice to have a fully working ac in the heat again. I've had no issues since. Cars aren't fun to fix and spend money on, but I feel like this was as painless as it could have been. I'd definitely return for services!

I was given a price of roughly 2500.00 to rebuild the transmission and would take around 3 to 4 weeks to be completed and had to pay 1200.00 up front to even start on the work. After 3 weeks, I called to see how much longer, I was told Glen was out of the office and would have to call me back, but he never did. Sometimes, there was no answer at all during regular business hours. Drove to the shop during regular business hours, and they were closed. No body around what so ever. When I was able to talk to Glen, I was told "we're waiting on the part" called again and was told "yeah your part came in, but your car was pushed out of the garage because it was taking too long for the part to come in and your car was put at the end of the line and they were working on other cars. They damaged parts on the car and then charged me to fix it. I had a manufacturer recall part, and when I dropped the car off, i asked if they could reach out to GM on the replacement, I was told they wouldn't do that. I would have to take it to a GM dealership to have that work done. Well low and behold, they replaced it and charged me 296.00. I said that it was a recall item, and you told me you wouldn't touch it. Glen's response was "well I had to replace it to get the job done correctly." When all was said and done, it was close to 6000.00 and 6 months later. So on top of 3500.00 more for the repair, I had to find rides, borrow cars, and even had to rent a car and had to pay for it out of my own pocket. SO UNLESS YOU DON'T MIND PAYING OVER "DOUBLE" THE QUOTE GIVEN OR IF YOU REALLY DON'T NEED A CAR TO DRIVE, THEM BE MY GUEST AND YOU CAN GIVE THEM A CHANCE. "MAYBE" YOU'LL HAVE BETTER LUCK THAN I DID!!!!!!!

Once he has your vehicle, communication is almost nonexistent, answers are few and far between, and the estimated price becomes much more. He had my vehicle for almost SEVEN months. I have asked more once for Glenn to fulfill what he had committed to and he has yet to live up to his end. This shop is closed, but he is now located at the Austin Transmission in Mehlville. Buyer beware. If you ask me, I would suggest using a more highly rated shop. If you pick this shop, Ron [the manager] seems to be the more reliable contact.

In all seriousness, my low tire pressure light came on immediately and I have to think fast to figure out what was close by. My car was not going to make it much further and air was quickly expiring. So, I turned where I always do for the best nearby spots (Yelp) and I found Telle Tire. Unfortunately, I arrived at 5:45pm, 15 minutes after they closed. I saw there was a place to drop your key, but I had never been a customer here before and was also in a hurry to still get to my cycling class. A gentleman came out of the locked door and offered to help. He proceeded to take my name and number and let me leave my keys and told me he'd give me a call tomorrow after they evaluated the tire. I was so grateful, as they were technically closed. Sure enough, they called me promptly the next day, they were able to get the exact tire I needed, one that matched my other tires, same day! They serviced it that day too, and it was ready by the end of the next day. The price was right too! It was $50 under what I have paid at other places for the exact same thing, so I was thrilled. I really appreciate this business, as they went out of their way to help me and delivered on everything they said they would and more. Totally won me over.

They have a waiting list to get your car in. That's a good sign, people will wait a week to see them. 2. Courtesy inspections (aka free). That's amazing and would cost you $85 at a dealer 3. Us: Do our breaks need to be changed? If so, just do it. Lens: no, you're good for awhile. That's pretty remarkable, that could be easy money for them yet it's an honest shop. 4. Service up front has always been great and I've even been shown what exactly broke and needed replaced. Because if this, I am confident enough to trust their recommendations even if it's higher priced because they have saved me money before

Apparently I needed a new water pump. Keep in mind my car has been sitting for a year and not many people have been able to get it up and running for me. Me and my girlfriend are broke college students, so getting money to repair a car isn't easy. Gave this guy $435 for parts and additionally my battery that he was supposed to change out for me because it was draining and come back the following day with it. Never happened. Called multiple times and texted multiple times. "Lost his phone" for almost 24 hours before responding. Told me to be patient after taking my money. Was nothing but nice and still was treated like shit. He has a "discount" from autozone and Orileys but will tell you the employee at an establishment ordered the wrong parts or for the wrong car. Don't test your luck because you will be screwed. He attempted to get even more money out of us and we have filed a police report due to this so called business man. Receipts and everything were kept. He may be able to do simple things , but he is by no means a man nor a real mechanic. A con artist that uses people's life situations, and makes them even worse. Me and my girlfriend are out so much money. We even had an agreement and he didn't follow through. A pussy ass thing to do. Don't do business with this guy as a whole bc it is not a real business. He is a bitch if you will. Neglects everything you ask and tries to steal everything you have. We are out a car with no battery and $435 worth of parts.
