I'm so thankful I did. I used to be a daily workout person pre-children and then that along with Covid happened and my group classes and time for class disappeared. This was a friendly kick in the pants to get out and do it. I wasn't sure what to expect and heard good things about it. I'm happy to report, this has been an amazing place with awesome instructors and staff, and motivating members. Getting back to the grind has been a little easier with their app and some helpful articles and just the all encompassing flow of things. It's a mix of a mindful workout where you can challenge yourself along with breathing and recovery time. Feeling better than I have in a while! I finished 6 classes in the last 9 days . Glad to get back into shape in mind, body, and spirit. The classes are in the morning and in the afternoon M-Th and in the mornings Fr, Sa, Su. I wish there were Friday afternoon classes but maybe one day.

I had initially joined when they were running special last year for the grand opening, I ended up canceling because it took forever for the Black Mntn location to open. I finally decided to give it another try. Signed up a few months ago. First visits were good staff were nice. I got a tour my 1st visit and I wish i remembered his name but it was his 1st week there. He was great and explained how everything works. I wish they had trainers at this location. I heard trainers are only available for the Location on University. Not all the equipment have bar codes for you to see how to use it on the APP. I stuck to what I knew and tried a few new ones. It took a couple of times for me to figure out when it's not so crowded. The APP does show crowd meter but it's not always accurate in my opinion. What they could improve on. Do away with the free teen program during the summer. Nothing against teens but to me it made the place even more crowded. I also noticed most of the teens were not following gym etiquette by wiping the machines down when they were done. I also saw quite a few of them just sitting at the machines on their phones. Overall I like the gym and the Black Card membership is ok. Quite a few times the Black card membership perks like the hydro massage were closed. I wish the were 24/7. But I think the membership price is fair for what you get.

I have tried this gym a couple of times. It's brand new. Staff isn't really very professional acting. I mean it's a gym, but they could make any amount of effort and they really don't. My persisting issue here is that they have little or no hot water! I even called them before I came today to see if they repaired whatever issues a brand new gym can have, to not have hot water. The guy straight up lied to me and told me it was fixed, and joke's on me, there's no hot water. Fool me once... Their Google and Yelp reviews make multiple complaints about the lack of hot water. They know about it and they definitely aren't going to fix it. Fellow black card members, bypass this location altogether. You can thank me later.

It's clean, the music is fantastic and the vibe is serious but not intimidating. Back to Haley. I've always been a runner and did yoga but I was intimidated by the gym. Haley comes from a holistic background. Her approach to training is about growth, but never force. I feel supported but not shamed. I was one of their first members nearly 9 years ago, back when memberships were $19.99. After moving to Del Sur, I canceled my membership and recently decided to rejoin. Since the gym has been under new management for the past couple of years, I paid the initial rejoining fee and was paying $89.99/month for Peak Plus. I was willing to give Crunch another chance and expected a better experience. In July, I decided to downgrade to the $59.99 plan. I was told there was a $10 downgrade fee, but I was never informed about the 10-day billing policy. I was charged $89.99 for August and then $59.99 for September. I haven't used the gym in 5 weeks because I've been out of town. I tried calling to address the situation, but was told I needed to come into the gym in person. So I came in specifically to speak with a manager, only to find that the manager wasn't there. I asked the front desk if anything could be done since I hadn't used the gym, but was told there would be no prorated adjustment. At that point, I decided to cancel. I'm now in the middle of September and was told that I still have to pay for the entire month of October, with my membership ending October 31. So here I am, having not used the gym in 5 weeks, with another 6 weeks to ride this out. What makes this even more disappointing is that four other members of my family pay $89.99 a month here, and I have many friends, colleagues, and neighbors who are also members. These are people who should be informed about my experience because they deserve to understand the billing, freezing, downgrade, and cancellation policies before making decisions about their memberships. I wouldn't mind paying more for a gym if the customer service and policies reflected that value. I'm willing to pay for good service, communication, and being treated like a valued member. But when every option seems to come with another fee, restriction, or complicated policy, it starts to feel like a no-win situation for the customer. After nearly 9 years as a member, I expected much better communication and professionalism. My frustration isn't simply about the money. It's about the lack of transparency, the complicated cancellation process, and feeling like no one actually cared enough to help find a reasonable solution. And honestly, how are you supposed to "ride out" another six weeks and walk into a gym with a good attitude when you're already frustrated by the experience and feel a lack of compassion from the people you're dealing with? I'll be finding a gym that is more transparent, communicates clearly, and actually makes its members feel valued. Definitely ask questions about billing, downgrade policies, freezing policies, fees, and cancellation BEFORE joining Crunch. Read the FINE PRINT. Don't assume the process will be simple.

Every class is supported by one to two knowledgeable coaches who demonstrate movements, ensure proper form, and provide constant motivation and accountability both inside and outside the studio.
