I try to stay away from this area for this reason and also because parking isn't convenient. However, I love the studio. I think this studio seems to be the one with the highest level of cleanliness and the showers don't look grungy. The shower curtains are also long enough to touch the floor so you're not stepping in a puddle after your shower! I took Robin's class at 3:30 and she put me to work! My traps and glutes are on fire. Thank you for making me work girl

Problem was it was always busy that's why I was looking for another gym. Anytime told me their rate was $60 a month. I figured just $10 more than what I was paying and less crowded. Ends up they charge your credit card every 2 weeks instead of once a month. That comes out to being charged 26 times per year instead of 24, so you're actually pay for 13 months, but in only 12 months. So my $60 a month turned into $76 per month.... Also a $35 fee charged every six months for I don't know what? No amenities...they turned off internet so cannot watch News or TV will sitting on a bike. The drop in process was really simple, I downloaded the app and once I received the code to join, I was able to sign the waiver, pay the fee and register for the class of my choice. This place reminds me of some of the earlier CrossFit Gyms that I have worked out in. A decent sized indoor space with large rolling doors that open up to a spectacular view! There was ample space and the group was warm and welcoming! Plenty of equipment and everything I needed to get in a great workout. Coach Rachel was engaging and well organized, kept you going starting with a great warm-up which mirrored the exercises of the day and gave good instruction as to how to do each exercise and excellent feedback. The atmosphere was so comfortable, I felt as if I were back home. The WOD was both fun and challenging, I left feeling tired but nothing a nap on the beach wouldn't cure. I would totally recommend this gym to anyone who is a local looking to find a great place to workout or if you are visiting from out of town and want to work out some of those vacation calories!

A Truly Special Part of UFC GYM Kailua…read more I just wanted to take a moment to recognize Kavika, who works in the childcare at UFC GYM Kailua. This isn't about one specific interaction...it's about the way Kavika consistently shows up for the kids. Every time we come to the gym, he is so loving, caring, patient, and genuinely playful with them. He makes the childcare feel like a place where my kids are not just being watched, but are actually cared for and valued. My kids get excited to go to the gym because they get to see Kavika. They talk about him all the time! As a parent, there is no better feeling than knowing your children are with someone who genuinely enjoys being around them and makes them feel safe, happy, and welcomed. Kavika deserves to be recognized for the impact he has. The consistency, kindness, and positive energy he brings to the childcare absolutely does not go unnoticed. Employees like him are incredibly valuable, and I truly hope UFC GYM recognizes what a special person they have in him. I hope and pray they are able to keep Kavika around for a very long time, because people like him are hard to find. He has made our family's experience at UFC GYM so great and we are genuinely grateful for him. Thank you, Kavika, for being so wonderful with my kids!
