I refer to Fitness Revolution as a B.Y.O. (bring your own) gym, unlike nothing I've experienced before, and I've been to a variety of fitness facilities. The owner told us we'd should to bring our own mat, a ball and suggested we purchase a foam roller to get the most out of his classes. He also encouraged us to buy a set of his very pricey resistance bands. The owner certainly likes to upsell, which is so blatant that it's tacky. At the end of the orientation session he told the group about the "limited time offers" he was offering if we were willing to sign up for monthly memberships on the spot, without even having taken one of his real classes. Even the "deals" were extremely expensive, especially considering boot camp classes are ONLY offered Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. What's more, they take one week off after six weeks on January - September, and one week off a month during the fourth quarter. During the orientation session we were told each class would contain up to 30 people. Fitness Revolution is not a very large facility, and I can only imagine it's more than a little crowded when you try and squeeze that many people in there. What really turned me off about Fitness Revolution, however, was an extremely inappropriate video the owner sent out to his entire e-mail distribution list. This five-minute video depicted women who work out as stupid and vain. It was incredibly derogatory and demeaning to women. This video and the poor decision the owner made when not only distributing this via e-mail, but also on Facebook, was the number one factor in my decision to never set foot in this place again! Moral of the story: Bootcamp fitness gyms are a dime a dozen these days. I HIGHLY recommend you find someplace else to work out!

The workouts are 3 out of 4 weeks in a month, but price is on a monthly basis and is very high for the limited number of classes. It is also "suggested" that you purchase of resistance bands if you join the club which are additional $$$. Eventhough the room is fully stocked with these bands and equipment. You can not reschedule a missed class and there are no refunds. The owner is a good trainer, but very "salesy" and does not understand that the customer is always right.

The Chanhassen team was incredibly welcoming AND they offered to make me a temporary key pass that I could use for the few days they weren't staffed that weekend. So, I was able to get in my normal workouts while on vacation. Really appreciated that! Service aside, the club was very clean and up to date. There was plenty of parking and the space is quite big. There's even a grocery store next door so you can grab your protein fix if you need one post workout. Love the Koko approach to working out and was so glad I could get a few Koko workouts in this weekend! Thanks guys!!!

My son has now been attending Metro Karate for 3 years and is a black belt, working towards his second degree. The growth he's developed during that time in discipline, respect and self confidence has been incredible and well worth the financial and time investment.
