FYZICAL Therapy & Balance 2334 N. University Drive…read moreCoral Springs 33071 I'm lifting the address because I'm referring specifically to this location as not all of these are owned and operated by the same individuals. This location is owned and operated by two females and I cannot speak highly enough about the location, equipment, and education of the staff, who all work so well in concert with each other. As someone recovering from 3 weeks on life support, having been to several different rehabs, I can speak firsthand on how important a knowledgeable therapist is, especially a team approach, which this focus is on. If my therapist is not available, anyone else can step up and see the treatment plan and take over at that point and I don't feel as if I've missed a moment of treatment. Because I am in a walker, my balance is so poor, and I have seizures, they are applauded for being able to keep me protected and yet help me to improve. One of the ways they do this is by keeping me in a harness, not all the time, but most of the time. I'm able to do my exercises without any fear of falling or getting injured. THIS is a huge plus! Whether you are healthy and you're just looking for a more structured environment to continue your workouts, or you are someone with MS, Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, Balance Disorders, Epilepsy, etc - THIS is where you want to be for your care. Jason, my therapist is very practical in his approach. He knows how important it is to me that he takes what he does at the center and makes it to where I can apply it to everyday tasks at home. After all, it doesn't do any good for me to learn how to move my leg like (this), but not know how that will help me at home. They are teaching me now how to get up when I fall down. Sounds simple to you but it's not simple at all. 3 weeks on life support means that you need to learn to walk, talk, chew, swallow, eat, write your name, and let's not forget the all-important balance. Because my balance is off center because of a problem with my brain, it's not going to get much better but, the team at FYZICAL is pushing through the boundaries. Thank you Amira, one of the owners, who is incredibly supportive, and my current bestie for 2+ months, physical therapist, not to the stars but to me, JASON for making me feel that I actually will be able to walk to Walgreens one day, all by myself, with my Walker. After all, look at me walking around the pond by my home. He is incredible & he feels very challenged to make me better - well I have a seizure during my hour of therapy, he tries to find a way to not waste any of the time and it's incredibly challenging for him. Admire him for even wife to take Doreen we'll handle all the insurance and paperwork for you, give you a schedule a month in advance, if you so desire and make it very seamless. Thank you for reading my review, It was written solely to help those that need help with physical therapy, gait training or balance. I'm impressed with how many older people participate in their program. Each one gets individualized care and no one feels as if they're being put through a cookie cutter. Emm

In my opinion, Coconut Creek Therapy (CCT) tailors' treatment to insurance, not the patient…read more I had knee replacement May 9th. I had an OP consult at CCT June 9th. My stated goal day 1 at CCT was to get back on tennis court 3 months post op. My goal was ignored. I was very fit when operated on - played tennis for 2 hours the day before surgery, I found the exercises given very simple, no exertion whatsoever. Which is fine - they 're the experts, right? I did them religiously 7 days a week (3 in clinic, 4 days at home) thru August 2nd. My issue is that it took 23 clinic visits - until August 2nd - for them to put 1 lb weights on my ankles. Discouraged, that week I saw the surgeon's PA, and a trainer at the gym, and the PT who did my home care after surgery. All agreed that it made no sense to go that slow on a fit and motivated patient like me. So, I quit CCT. Recommendation was that I change PT clinics. I asked the recommended clinic to investigate my insurance. They said all my Medicare (MC) benefits had been used up by CCT. I now know MC has an annual $ cap that was far exceeded by CC Therapy. They apparently asked MC for more coverage because of "medical necessity". But I was never informed of any medical necessity. There were NO goals discussed with me, NO status reports, NO mention of progress made, of lack thereof. Just keep on billing .....
