I started my visit this office because I felt unsteady on my feet. I also fell twice, like a clumsy fall. After my initial visit I was sent to have a series of X Rays. Upon my next visit with Dr. Adam we did and assessment and we agreed to a plan of action. I should also say most other chiropractors won't even touch my neck because I have a fusion. Dr. Adam is well versed in his field and is extremely knowledgeable. With the treatments Dr. Adam provided to me I feel 100% improved. I started doing acupuncture with Dr. Landon in order to better prepare my eggs and body for our upcoming IVF cycle. I went to him once a week starting about 4 months prior to doing IVF and continued through my IVF cycle and first trimester of pregnancy. In 2016 I wrote the following: Dr. Agoado (AKA Dr. Landon) has - quite simply - changed my life. After carefully explaining to me what acupuncture can and cannot do in a free consultation, he has gone on to teach me about homeopathic remedies, dramatically lessened my joint and muscle pain and made me feel - for lack of a better term "whole". Slowly but surely - with his help and guidance - I have rid myself of the need for all over-the-counter and most of my prescribed medicines. My general practitioner is thrilled - but most importantly, I no longer fear standing in line at the store (because I can), or going to bed knowing I'll either toss and turn for hours or suffer debilitating nightmares. Again, I appreciate his concern for my budget - having me "test drive" herbs before I purchase them - recommending alternatives and things I can do for me - by me. I love this place! I've been seeing doctor Landon for acupuncture for several years now and I honestly do not know what I would have done if I hadn't found him. I started going to Doctor Landon for sciatic pain, terrible neck pain that's as a result of a bulging disc in my neck, fertility issues, chronic head aches and stress. Doctor Landon told me to start coming for treatment once a week and then as needed. It took a couple of appointments for my neck and sciatic pain to begin to go away but my chronic headaches were gone instantly! After just a month I was already feeling like I was completely healed or was at least only needing to come every 3 weeks or so. I even stopped going for several months because I moved farther away and didn't have any complaints for several months. Once the pain started to come back a little I came back to Doctor Landon and instantly I was good as new. I've never felt any kind of pain with my acupuncture and have never bruised either. I also work out often so at times I get tight. Well doctor Landon has fixed that too with cupping! It leaves some bruising and is uncomfortable but well worth it. Doctor Landon also offers you herbs to assist with the acupuncture. I've taken them but I'm honestly horrible with remembering to take pills so I didn't take them often enough to know if they had any affects. I know that they have other things in the office like physical therapy and I believe a chiropractor but I've never seen any of those doctors. DR. LANDON AGOADO IS THE BEST ACUPUNCTURIST.... I was recently diagnosed with medical condition that caused me to be unable to sleep at night due to the pain. Medication, heating pads, ice packs, feet elevated, head elevated, sleeping in a chair, pillows... I tried them all and I still would wake up every 2 hours. Dr. Agoado treated me and last night I had the first full night of sleep (without sleep aids). The Staff is phenomenal, but Dr. Agoado is beyond that. I have been plagued with a mystery pain in my upper arm/left shoulder for a year almost. My general practitioner suggested I see an Orthopedic specialist. I went to Cleveland Clinic in Weston, FL. Saw the specialist, he took X-rays. Saw nothing on the X-rays but did indicate tightness in my shoulders and rhomboid muscles and prescribed an anti-inflammatory and muscle relaxer (I didn't like the muscle relaxer and the anti-inflammatory did nothing.). He referred me to a Neurologist at Cleveland Clinic. Neurologist examined me - saw nothing. Took X-rays. Saw nothing on the film. Ordered an EMG and Nerve Conduction Study - which showed nothing abnormal. The neurologist said they believed my issue was musculoskeletal. Okay - still no definitive answers. I decided to meet with a chiropractor. Meet the WRONG chiropractor who tried to scam me out of about $4000 (I have very good insurance coverage) - told me I have lumbar spinal stenosis (took two X-rays) and indicated I needed to do 23 sessions on a decompression table. I was so outdone. However, I had also stumbled across Care Wellness Center's website (before I saw the scam chiropractor). The Center called me, and I was hesitant to visit, but I was encouraged to take advantage of a free consultation and took the opportunity. I initially met with an acupuncturist, explained my journey before that day and he highly suggested that I meet Dr. Friedman, in fact, he called in Dr. Friedman to ask about the alleged "spinal stenosis". Dr. Friedman said there is a very small chance, if any, that an X-ray (not an MRI) could show such a condition. Great! At least I knew I most likely didn't have spinal stenosis. I made my first appointment to meet with him in December 2018. I was nervous based on my first and only other involvement with a chiro. The first visit was extremely thorough. Based on his examination, there are several areas of concern OUTSIDE of my shoulder that I didn't even realize but it all began to make sense. I started to think about how my body had begun changing/declining - in fact I had started having a tingling sensation in my left upper thigh - my body telling me that I needed to make some changes and get help! I remember the first time Dr. Friedman made this crazy adjustment to my back and I felt the release of energy through my arms - it was unbelievable and amazing at the same time. He's had to do some tricky manipulations to my spine and each time I had felt an immediately release and relief and because of that I whole heartedly trust him. He uses a whole-body approach and stressed I need to work on certain lifestyle changes in tandem with the chiropractic care, including stress reduction, diet, exercise, use of a posture pump, chiropractic pillow, sleeping position, his YouTube instructional videos, etc. His attitude/"bedside manner" are amazing. I've had probably 25 visits with Dr. Friedman since December 2018. The tingling sensation in my leg is gone, my posture is MUCH better, I used to have headaches - I can't remember the last time I've had one, the mystery pain in my shoulder literally vanished, the range of motion in my neck has vastly improved and I am confident there are other improvements yet to come, as long as I continue my treatments with Dr. Friedman and continue to follow his plan of care. If you are reading this review, you have taken an important first step. Dr. Friedman and his staff have been amazing! They're super friendly and easy to work with. Besides that, I have been feeling so much better from when I first starting coming in a month ago. I go in twice a week and do massages with T about every other week. I've felt major improvement with my body and day-to-day lifestyle. I'm actually impressed being that I've been in a car accident some years ago and never have I ever gone through such a thorough evaluation and treatment as I have been receiving here. Also, I've been bringing my little one in since we were both in a car accident and Dr. Friedman has been beyond amazing with him & has been helping him improve a strain he had. I'll start by saying that this was the ONLY Doctors office that actually truly cared and was the ONLY office to get me feeling better again. My story is a long one, but to keep it short and sweet, I was being tossed around from so many doctors offices in southern Florida (which come to find out they were all friends with each other). Those doctors diagnosed me with things that had nothing to do with my core problem. They made me take uanessacry tests. I took three EKG test, Two Stress tests, two Ultrasounds and they even put a camera down my throat to figure out why I was so sick! Their answers?? THEY HAD NO ANSWERS! they loaded me with prescription pills and nothing worked! I finally gave up and decided to call this Wellness Center and I'm so glad I did! I told Dr Rob the Acupuncturist my story and he decided to help me out! Dr Rob and the nutritionist at the time Amy helped me out and solved the problem through a simple stool test! The one test the other doctors hadn't taken! We found the problem! I'm about 100 pounds lighter, healthier, aware of certain foods and herbs and happy again! Oh and my problem has been resolved/managed! This place has a friendly staff from the ladies up front answering phones and checking you in and the theme continues all the way to the doctors in the building! All friendly!!
