    Car heaven! Open to the public. Great free entertainment for kids that like cars. Prices seemed reasonable on the cars.

    I am writing to express my disappointment with Ford's refusal to cover a defective exterior keypad…read moreon my vehicle. The keypad on the driver's door failed due to an apparent defect in the part itself, not due to wear and tear. I was informed that the repair would not be covered because my vehicle is approximately 4,000 miles over the warranty limit. This is extremely frustrating, as an electronic keypad should not fail under normal conditions and is clearly not a routine maintenance or wear item. The failure is due to a defective component, not customer misuse. I believe Ford should stand behind its product and provide goodwill coverage for this repair. Denying coverage over such a small mileage difference, especially for a defective part, does not reflect well on Ford's commitment to customer satisfaction. Even after overpaying for an air filter for the vehicle, I was told there was nothing they could do. Its all about money because the part was $200 but the labor was 3x the cost of the part at $600. Ridiculous! Why ill never buy Ford again. Better to buy a KIA or HYUNDAI at least they will stand behind their vehicle with their warranties.

It is truly beauty and the beast! I contacted Hobgood Auto Sales and made an appointment to test drive. I had driven an older one and also the Equus however neither compared to this baby. As I arrived, there was a young guy outside waiting for me, this was Brandon, Brandon Hobgood the owner. I have to admit, I was caught off guard when he told me this was HIS dealership!! It wasn't long before we were out for the test drive of my life, he patiently explained all the features of the vehicle (I'm not listening, only loving my ride lol) To make this a very long story short as it was a lot of back and forth on the vehicle, not on his part, my part or finance, it just took the contracted auto shop sooooo long to do everything correctly to my specifications. I really must add this, Brandon did a lot of hand holding and even talked me down off my limb as I was very frustrated with the mechanics, Brandon acted as the Liason between myself and them, just a total professional. Most importantly, I did trade my car in and he made absolute SURE I was not left walking, just the opposite, I felt like a pampered customer, actually more like family! I seldom give 5 stars, you really have to work for it as I've always been an extremely tough critic! I have already referred him to several clients and family members, this man has earned my trust! If you are looking for a new/newer ride, financing options, check him out, if he doesn't have what you want on the lot, I am positive he will find it for you.

He was not there, I immediately called him from my new number because as I mention in original review he blocked my old number so I couldn't contact him. Mr. Hobgood answered and I asked him to meet me with the proper paperwork that should have been given to me at time of sale, he told me "no" "he would email it" I said you have been telling my mom that for months and have not done it. I cannot drive the car until I get those forms! I paid $3500.00 and traded my Suv for a car that I cant drive because you didn't complete some forms and what was completed was done incorrectly. He told me" he would email me the needed documents if I took my bad reviews about him down", I responded that after I got the documents I would delete the reviews! To which he replied I could and I quote "F**K OFF" Unquote. He then hung up the phone, I tried repeatedly to call him back, which he did not answer my calls or my friends attempts to contact him. I went to the DMV near Mr Hobgood's place of business and explained my situation to one of the clerks there and two officiers and found that it is illegal the way he didn't file the correct paperwork and just because he claims he closed his business does NOT mean that he doesn't have to file the correct forms. All I want is to be able to drive the car that I bought from him, I don't think that is an unfair request. I WILL be posting more updates soon because legal and civil actions will be taken. ORIGINAL REVIEW Dont buy here!! Bought VW Jetta TDI, he switched out dash and odometer into tell me till 20 days later, marks actual milage on title never transfers paperwork, no bill of sale Or odometer statement, he blocked my phone # from calling him, I've had this car for months and can't drive it because the dmv won't register this vehicle!!! He promised to order the trim for the car and go halves or a stereo because I wasn't going to buy it without these things fixed, well I have yet to receive either. Now he tells my mom he has closed his business but will send the paperwork in so I can get car registratered he still lies, never does paperwork and he only changed the business phone #. This guy is 100% crook, he doesn't inspect the cars, no detailing, not accredited by BBB. I have filled documented coplaints with 5 departments over this guy, I just want to drive the car I paid $3500.00 for and traded my SUV in on what a rip off!!!!!

Last week, my mother died suddenly at age 86. Yesterday--while still grieving--my 94-year-old father took his car in for what should have been a routine issue: an oil change light. Instead of simply addressing the service request, a service advisor named Susan Cardozo attempted to convince him to purchase a pre-owned vehicle for $10,000. My father is a recent widower, on a fixed income, and has restrictions on his driver's license that already limit when he can legally drive. He explicitly told her that his wife had just passed away and asked that she contact me, his son, before any decisions were made. She never called me. She has ignored my calls. Instead, she continues communicating directly with a 94-year-old man who is vulnerable, grieving, and clearly not in a position to be pressured into a financial decision. This behavior is, at best, grossly unethical. At worst, it borders on elder exploitation. No reputable business should be attempting to upsell a senior citizen--especially one who should not be driving at all--into a car purchase under these circumstances. If this is how this service center operates, taking advantage of elderly customers at their weakest moments, then the public deserves to know. I would not recommend this dealership or service department to anyone who values integrity, decency, or basic human compassion. UPDATE: Unfortunately I spoke with Susan, who took no accountability for her role, and basically blamed everything on "Michael." Michael called me the day I posted this message on google/yelp, two days after my father first came into the service office, 1 day after agreeing to sell my dad a pre-owned vehicle, and claimed he received my phone number, but the reason he couldn't reach me was because one number was off. He did not explain to me why he continued to communicate with my father. I only asked them for a write up of what was wrong with my father's car, to which Susan rudely replied that I had to wait my turn and they were busy. This is still too soon after my mother's death for me to have to deal with this type of unethical behavior.

While my wife and I were considering purchasing a Nissan, (and we were not in the market right at that moment), one salesman quickly became two, and the two then became THREE, all ganging up on me, all acting like they were my new best friends, saying "We really would like to see you in a new car.," flattering me and trying to charm me into giving them a yes, all while they were trying to pit me against my wife. A TOTAL TURNOFF. I don't need three people trying to convince me to make a purchase, especially threeA desperate sales people. (I say this from he point of view of having been in sales myself, so I knew their game.) But the service department was even worse. On two separate occasions, they attempted to bully her into getting additional, very expensive service that her car did not need. She was very suspicious because they were very pushy about it, so she took her care for a second opinion at Complete Automotive, a company that has a superior rating with Yelp and will not offer a service that a car does not need. They agreed that Maus was playing games with her. On another occasion, my wife wanted one thing done for service that only an authorized dealership would be able to do. I don't know exactly what was involved in it, but while doing their work, they came up with a list of numerous additional items that they said needed to be serviced, totalling around $6000. When she refused, the woman working with her became snide and pushy, and gave he an entire list of all that needed to be done, then insisted that my wife sign each item stating that she was refusing the service, WORSE, the woman told her that they would not return my wife's keys until she signed the papers. YOU CAN'T MAKE THIS STUFF UP! The commercials make the owner of this dealership look like the nice guy next door, but it all starts at the top. We noticed this type of behavior at BOTH of their stores, one in Brooksville the other in Pasco County. If he has true integrity (which I doubt), he would fire EVERYONE at his stores, from sales managers, to sales, to service managers and service workers and start from scratch. It would be great business decision and good for PR, but when has this dealership ever had integrity? STAY AWAY FROM MAUS!
