While in Utica we were on the hunt for some beer and snacks, so we decided to stop in at the…read moreBlandina Number One corner store. When we pulled up the lights in front of the store were burnt out and it looked sketchy. That being said, we have been to worst looking places so we decided to go in. When we walked in to the store we were thrown off by how empty the store was. Their beer cooler was almost empty and they had destroyed cans all over the cooler. The bottom of the cooler looked like a beer can graveyard. The store shelves were also empty, and they didn't have much except for some bread and butter. The only thing that was well stocked was their scratch ticket section as well as cigarettes. Their other well stocked shelf was their hair extension section that was covered in dust. In the end this little sketchy store would have been better if the coolers were full and clean.

We loaded up with snacks and drinks for a roadtrip back to the city and everything was as you would expect. Not only were the cashiers super friendly but one guy working the coffee machines let me have my coffee for free because "the red light is on, the coffee is passed it prime" lol that still tickles me thinking back on it. And to top it off, the coffee was fine! Would definitely come back next time we're in Utica.
