It's never too late to organize your garage AND your life! Thanks to Ariane, "The Clutter Nanny,"…read moreand Shannon, my garage and my life is now functioning at a MUCH better capacity! After years and years of hanging on to "things" I never used, sold or donated and thus making our garage a messy, unsightly and unusable place, I changed my mindset, thanks to Ariane and Shannon and couldn't be happier AND healthier. It feels much better to live in the present than to hang on to things from my past. These are things I decided someone else could much better use and enjoy, and the adage, if you haven't used it in a year, you don't "need" it, is so true. Ariane and Shannon helped me and my husband to sort, donate, toss or keep so many things we had saved for 20 or more years. They also offer to take items to donate as well. I learned about my city's (Fullerton) numerous opportunities for large item pick ups and extra trash pick ups (for an added fee) in the process. I became a familiar face at our local disposal place, which I (don't laugh) was kinda nervous about going to before, and that's why so many things didn't get "dumped." Our garage now has useable totes and shelves and designated spaces for items we truly need and use for our home and life. Big pluses for "The Clutter Nanny" are that both Ariane and Shannon are punctual, hard working, organized, great communicators and schedulers, conscientious, creative, and fantastic problem solvers. Now, and for our future, we have our two-car garage back and I look FORWARD to doing my laundry, storing and easily getting outdoor accessories and decor, easily finding camping items and tools to use indoors and outdoors. All our garage clutter is gone, and with this mindset, which Ariane and Shannon fostered in me, which feels and IS healthy, I am positive, I will not go back to clutter again. I even went to an estate sale two weeks after our de-cluttering, and didn't buy a thing; I just enjoyed myself. Thank you, Ariane and Shannon!

I'm seven months pregnant with our second baby, and our kitchen, pantry, and utility closet had become completely overwhelming. My husband and I did not have the time or energy to redo everything before the baby arrived. I especially needed help making our space work better for a toddler while preparing for newborn life again. They stepped in, understood exactly what we needed, and created practical solutions that made our home feel calm and manageable. At the end of the day it was something that needed to be done; something we were never going to do half as well as they did; and something that would lead to headaches and fights. We're so glad it was Ariane and Shannon doing it, not us. It was worth every penny. If you are thinking about booking them, plan ahead because their calendar fills up quickly.

My siblings and I had been stressed and overwhelmed by our mom's hoarding for years, but the…read moresituation always felt way too big for us to handle. After she was hospitalized and moved into a skilled nursing facility, I suddenly needed to end her lease and completely clear out her apartment while also dealing with a million other things on her behalf. I knew I needed more than just a junk removal or moving company. I specifically wanted a senior move manager who could coordinate the sorting, donations, hauling, moving, and storage, because the thought of finding and managing all of those vendors myself was overwhelming. I found A Clear Path through the NASMM website and was immediately impressed that they were A+ Accredited. Their website also really resonated with me because they clearly understood the emotional side of hoarding and approached these situations with compassion. Mary reached out very quickly after I submitted my project details, and I was able to schedule a Zoom consultation for the next day through their online scheduling system. She was kind, responsive, and upfront that a project of this size would be costly. After our consultation, she emailed me a detailed proposal with the full price breakdown, so I knew exactly what to expect before moving forward. Communication was fast and easy over email, and everything from scheduling the consultation to paying the invoice online felt organized and streamlined. I was still really nervous on the first day because I didn't know what to expect, but Melody, Erika, and Tito arrived right at 9:00 AM and immediately got to work after I gave them a walkthrough. They were so thoughtful and reassuring, and they always checked with me about what should be kept, donated, or thrown away. They were also incredibly meticulous. They carefully combed through everything and set aside important documents, money, and sentimental belongings, including things I had not even thought to look for, like my mom's passport and my family's Social Security cards. Knowing they were paying such close attention gave me so much peace of mind. They worked through an enormous amount of stuff during a heat wave and remained positive and efficient throughout the project. I was honestly so inspired by their work ethic. Mary had estimated that the sorting would take two full days, but they finished early on the second day! A Clear Path also coordinated the hauling with Richard and his team at Cote Trash Hauling and Cleanup. The hauling had been estimated to take two days, but they arrived right at 7:00 AM and finished the entire job in one day! I was amazed by how quickly they worked, especially since the apartment was on the second floor and there was so much to remove. By the end of the third day, the apartment was completely emptied. Richard and his team moved everything we were keeping into storage, transported the donations, and took the remaining junk to the dump. There is absolutely no way I could have handled all of this on my own, especially while juggling work and everything else related to my mom's transition. I feel so lucky that the project went as smoothly as it did! I'm incredibly grateful to Mary, Melody, Erika, Tito, Richard, and everyone else involved. They took a situation that had felt impossible for years and helped my family finally move forward. I truly cannot recommend A Clear Path enough, especially to anyone facing an overwhelming downsizing, hoarding, or senior move situation!!

Our organizer Stacey allowed my mom the one sentimental collection of glasses but firmly guided her kindly through culling many other items. It was truly a major downsize from our home of 10 years, to a new space and neighborhood that we intend to make permanent eventually. We brought only what we absolutely needed in to our small space but it was still a challenge and overwhelming to create a new living space that was organized with less cabinets and rooms! When I say challenging I'm talking about tears and feeling like we made a mistake about moving in to a smaller space even though temporary! Well Diane sure came to the rescue, first with a virtual consultation and an appointment to get started. What impressed me most is that Diane got started right away while I was on work calls because I work from home. She made her way through all our kitchen items and quickly sorted and put all the items in the cabinets that was organized and that made complete sense in how we would use the kitchen area! She did return to help with our tiny bathroom organization and cleaning supplies closet which helped tremendously! Diana also gave additional ideas for some storage solutions for things we do not use everyday which we executed not to long after her initial visits. My only regret is not calling Diane sooner for help! I definitely plan to use her services again when we move for packing and unpacking and organizing our new home! Thank you so much, Diane!

I was starting a brand new life in LA with an awesome (but incredibly busy) new job and a new apartment 6 blocks from the beach in Santa Monica. That smile quickly turned into pitiful daily tears when reality set in that I was going to have to start over with decorating an entire apartment from top to bottom while learning a new city and new job. Lots of people love home decorating...They love the shopping, the searching for deals, the looking up of things on Pinterest....well NOT ME!! Decorating genuinely PAINS me in a way that is probably unusual and unnatural for a woman but this is where I am SO lucky and thankful to know Shanna. She has saved the day for me and has stopped the shedding of tears with her genius creativity and patience. To set the scene appropriately, this was not some beautiful new apartment but rather an apartment from 1971, complete with popcorn ceilings, brown plush carpet, a pepto pink front door and a green AstroTurf walkway. Shanna immediately saw the potential in this little Santa Monica gem and encouraged me to get it and she would help me make it fabulous. Shanna worked with me for MONTHS on every single room and consulted with me on just about every single thing that I have purchased from big furniture to rugs to pillow covers to shower curtains, to dining curtains, to wall décor, even to plants that would work in my space due to my lack of natural light in some rooms. I found myself sending Shanna excessive photos options at all hours of the day before I would make a purchase and she always helped me figure out exactly what I needed with an eye that I sincerely trust. Besides the decorating, Shanna is simply a jack of all trades when it comes to pulling your home life together. She is resourceful and most of all, knows the who's, what's and where's when it comes to getting things done around the home. Also, I know her to be a master of gallery walls. Under her advice, I started collecting things that I loved and she has helped me create a really fun wall that everyone who comes over loves and compliments! Before I moved to LA, I lived in a very "sterile" and modern loft and I never knew I was capable of loving something as colorful and cozy as my place has become, thanks to Shanna and Little Simplicity! THANK YOU SHANNA!!
