So perhaps there is another entrance that no one told me about. The service was quick and our waitress was nice. The atmosphere was good. Ordered a rib plate... the small portion of ribs were over cooked and dry with loads of fat. The baked beans are so sweet it seems like 90% sugar 10% bean juice for sauce; they had zero meat, onions or personality. Beans & sugar syrup. Straight gross! The potato salad tasted store bought, bland nursing home vibe. The sweet tea was good. So I chocked down a few bites of dry ribs, 1 bite of beans & potato salad, paid the ridiculous price and left. Definitely not worth the prices they are charging! The lady at the register was nice. Perhaps they were just having an off beat day. That's the only reason for 2 stars. Definitely not loving this place.

We have eaten at just about all the steakhouses in the Mississippi/Tennessee area, from the small ones to the high-end ones. One of my favorite steaks is the porterhouse. It's usually around $60 and up at most steakhouses these days. Delta's porterhouse was $49 and it came with a salad plus one side. The salad was nothing to write home about. But who goes to a steakhouse for a salad? I chose the baked potato is my side. I upgraded it for $2 to what they call the colossal loaded baked potato. It was very good! If I had one critique, it would be that there was no before meal bread offered. It wasn't a big deal. I didn't need it anyway. I usually get my steak medium-rare. In most places, they always overcook it. When the stakes arrived, I was very excited to see they looked great. I cut into my steak and it was cooked perfectly. My wife's steak was also cooked perfectly. She got the filet. She ordered some sauteed mushrooms on the side. I'm not a huge fan of mushrooms, but these mushrooms. Had a very distinct taste. My wife said they were some of the best Mushroom. She's ever had. Our waitress was very pleasant and on the ball constantly. We didn't have to ask for anything. I looked at some of the other reviews here and I was a little confused. When you put this place up against some of the higher end steakhouses, I would still come back to this one. The atmosphere is very casual and the place is clean. The steakhouse is nestled right in the middle of downtown Senatobia. We just happened to be in the area and I'm glad we were. The salad felt more like an afterthought: mostly lettuce with one cherry tomato, a single onion ring, and a mound of shredded cheese. I've tried several entrées over time--the blackened catfish (which came out undercooked), the steak (beautiful presentation but lacking flavor), and the redfish (overcooked). My son ordered the pork chop, which was very dry, and the "fried apples" tasted more like syrup than fruit. Our server was kind but not very attentive; we had to ask for drink refills and our check. I truly don't enjoy leaving less-than-positive reviews, but I've consistently walked away disappointed.
