The fries were thin and crispy, I got a creative ice cream flavor, apple cider mill, omg it was fire!!! My favorite was the junkyard dog because the flavors can't be beat. I also tried the Greek one, and the Chicago dog. Chicago dog had a nice spice level, not absent, not deadly. The tzatziki on the Greek dog tied it altogether, I was really a bit surprised at how well it worked. There was one girl working the dining room, she was great and approachable I forgot to say how much I loved their story on the menu and the real pictures of other hot dogs places in the dining room. I recognized happy dog the moment I saw it! Fun

It's a simple store - hotdog decor, basic tables, very clean! Oh, the food! There are so many dogs to choose from and a great selection of toppings. My favorite is the kielbasa with kraut with Stadium Mustard. Simple, delicious, and perfect. I have a minor complaint, Bertman's Stadium Mustard, please. The coneys are fantastic, even the basic dogs are wonderful. They also have perogies, fried with onions to perfection - the fries are good, these are better! Treat yourself! The really nice dude who works there (maybe even owns it) turns out some clutch hot dogs. First, they're all-beef with a rich flavor; the buns are soft; kraut is delicious; and the chili is exactly as it should be -- a little cumin bite with nary a sweet note. I live more than 1,000 miles away, so I cannot give this place anything more than a couple of visits while I'm in town. If I lived here, I would patronize this place at least twice a week. If you read my profile, you'll see that I put hot dogs on the same culinary pedestal as white truffles. This place is one of the reasons why.

The hot dogs were such poor quality and the cheese coney just had a dump of nacho cheese. Cheese sticks didn't have much taste. Onion rings were the best thing we had. The wings were a great eat, juicy, well-coated in sauce, and packed with flavor. I loved the variety of sauces available, though I do wish they let you split flavors to try more than one in a single order. My husband went with a burger, the kids each had their own, and a friend tried the kimchi nachos. Every plate had a ton of flavor and was generously portioned. The brisket on the nachos was especially impressive, tender, melt-in-your-mouth, and worth coming back for. Overall, the food exceeded our expectations for what started as just a drink stop. Solid 4 stars, great flavors, great portions, and a fun spot to grab a bite with friends or family. To be honest, food was way better than the beer, we gave that 2 stars
