I come here a lot to fix a salad to go. They keep everything on the salad bar fresh, full, and appetizing. The few times I have gotten soup I was very disappointed. I don't know if they are trying to make the soups as bland as possible for people watching sodium, etc., but the vegetable soup, while tasty looking, doesn't have any flavor. I had to add a tablespoon of sriracha, salt, and pepper just to make it palatable. To my knowledge this is the only health food focused restaurant in Midland. Each day they have a new selection of hot dishes as well as a regular menu of sandwiches and wraps. It's convenient to my work so I eat lunch here probably 3 times a week. The service is usually pretty quick and the staff is friendly. read more

Love the concept and the atmosphere. However, I can't help but be a little disappointed. The pasta salad side was extremely disappointing. There wasn't anything mixed in the pasta and it was extremely bland. The turkey avocado wrap was decent but a little bland as well. The chicken tortilla soup was by far the most flavorful thing I had on the menu. The service was great and the staff was extremely helpful. Not fabulousness but clean and quite.... I should have known when it was connected to a natural food store... No options for sweetness for tea. Had the Sonoma Chicken combo - sandwich was good but nothing special. Chicken and dumplings were ok but not a huge appeal in June! Soups were all winter soups and heavy. Pasta salad was a waste. I hear how everyone says organic is better. Total BS!!! Their chicken tortilla soup was above average but I got there hamburger with chips and salsa. I think this place would be fantastic if they would ever go by the menu when they're making your meal. Sandwich, wrap, it doesn't matter. There is always something either missing or added extra that completely changes the flavor of the entire meal, and usually not in a good way--and I usually don't find out until I've gotten all the way home with it. I like that there is a place in town where you can get something that is relatively healthy, but when I order a sandwich specifically because I'm craving avocado, I want avocado on it, not sprouts. When my order is actually right, it's very good. I've tried a variety of things here and it's all good (again, when it's right). Their pumpkin bread is the best, and the choices for the salads are very fresh and flavorful. The staff is pretty friendly and the place is always clean. If you're looking for something besides a steakhouse or a mexican food restaurant, this is the place for a light lunch. read more

So I came to this place following the trend of a healthier lifestyle my relatives, friends and doctors are "encouraging" me to follow. You can find very nice food and surprisingly enough with some flavor too! The drawbacks, during lunch it is crowded with not enough tables and it is a little annoying eating your food while people are standing next to your table so they can take it when you finish. The price is a little more than I expected but hey, I am getting healthier, right? The pros, they have different options and it is great help if you are a vegan, or like me just want to try something new. The menu changes everyday so keep on coming to try something new. I recommend this place if you are looking for something different and don't care to wait standing up a little. read more

They went out of their way to get the kid some safe for him food. they cooked his wild caught salmon with salt only & brought me the recipe for the rice so i could make sure it was okay. This is a great option if you are looking for wholesome, organic food to eat. They also have lots of gluten free options and breads to choose from. Each day they have several organic soups and a fresh salad bar filled with lots of toppings and mayo-based salads to place on top. They have a wide variety of sandwiches, wraps, and smoothies. Finally, they have a hot food station offering different entrees with sides. Last night I had wild salmon with steamed chard and sweet potatoes. The day before they had quesadillas. Every day is different but there's always something to please everyone. They offer a great lunch special too for those who have time for a quick drop during the day. It's a carry out style place so everything is fast. I would highly recommend this place for a healthy alternative that makes you feel good after you eat it! The staff is really nice too. read more

I ate lunch here a couple of days ago and had a cup of their cream of tomato soup. It was absoulutely the best thing I have ever wrapped my tongue around--even better than chocolate!! I would love to have it again, but I don't live nearby. I hope to get some again one day. They were very nice people also. read more
