I also did not want any penalties for early pay off. Sue King came up with an easy plan and everything went as smooth as silk. She even got me a reasonable interest rate for the equity loan. Quality: Fulford homes use contractors to complete the jobs and does not hold standard or accountability to the works performed. Even when I question the quality of wood they use in structure support, the project manager gave me a complete lie: I question about wood knots and split in the support poles. Project manager told me knots strengthen the wood. If you google, you will find out that knots in wood weaken the strength in building structure. Do not trust a single word project manager says. Value: Any thing you ask, prepare to be told as upgrade. it has been a nightmare.

Our offers were identical, so the seller wanted to see evidence of downpayment and/or pre-qualification to determine which bid to accept. IE....so much for MY confidence in my financial situation. Luckily, I was able to immediately document the down payment and Jeff worked with me to determine an initial, rough pre-qualification then issued a letter demonstrating as much. Even as a well-qualified buyer, I still had to jump through "the usual" underwriting hoops - proving I'm actually me, providing bank statements, explaining any rouge or incorrect entries on my credit reports, etc. Jeff forcast the process accurately, explained each step we took, and gracefully fielded a couple of my, "Are you SURE I'm getting the best rate?" calls. He showed up at closing, and followed up with written thank you!! (pictured) In today's electronic age, the time he invested and the in-person handshake definitely solidified my relationship with Jeff and FCB.
