Absolutely the worst branch in the metro east. So, a friend goes and does teller transaction…read moredeposit and this lady seem to be very rude and unappreciative towards my friend. No hello or cordial greeting of any kind! Proceed to run the deposit and friend shows her an ID. Well, she just flat out say ID is not necessary for deposit with a condescending tone. Without a comment from a comment from my friend, she continues with "no one deposits money to someone else's account", as if it was stupid to show ID. She could have just stopped as ID is not necessary. The tone and facial expression on her face indicate a lot of disrespect towards a customer. Maybe it was the color of his skin. Who know's!!! But, it was obvious the remarks came across as insulting. Friend express displeasure and she just brush him off with "have good day". As if she could careless about his feelings. Ask to see the manager and she claims to be one. Hard to believe with her behavior but if she is then this certain branch is to be avoided. I sure hope Regions see this and train their people with compassion and respect towards people especially bank members. Everyone deserves and should be treated with respect no matter the color of skin. Just saying!

He, Andrew Sarver has since been promoted but he was the greatest asset I've ever personally witnessed in a business. He greeted every customer, shook hands, said goodbye, thanked people for their business. And Amy who is another executive at that location is just as amazing! If I had any issue she resolved it herself. She would not hesitate to call B of A HQ to solve any issue you bring to her. To actually enjoy going into the bank because you 'feel at home' with the people is really saying something extraordinary. This is a principle Bank of America was founded upon. These people in BofA O'Fallon, Il live it. And I had to go once to their Belleville location and was treated the same way by Meredith (sp) who also has since been promoted. We became one of the share holders/owners of a small piece of First Community JUST because of one or two features some other banks don't have namely, free checking, one-time one dollar membership fee, refunds on fees charged when you use other bank's ATMs, really-friendly-not-snooty associates (who work for the members and not the corporate stock holders,) a free set of 125 personalized checks and a personalized ATM card! Pro - Epic Checking rate is far higher than other institutions…read more Con - Today was the SECOND time our teller counted cash deposit $100 less than we counted. Once, I thought maybe I just made an error, twice, I'm not sure. Three people counted my cash before I presented at the drive through. I'm unsure how all three could've made the exact same error. The issue is complicated by COVID, as I'm unable to enter the branch. Both times the teller took my cash to a location out of my sight to count. To prevent future misunderstanding, I'll be counting the cash out in front of the teller at the drive through. I'll then ask they do the same, WITHOUT leaving my sight. Admittedly, this could be my error, but I feel it unlikely with three people counting and I was the final person to count. Their rates are great, but not if I have to "eat" $100 every time I make a large cash deposit. Be extra careful to count cash in front of the teller and ask they do the same without leaving your sight. This protects you and them.

Management permanently removed the check-in kiosks, forcing members to wait in a 20-minute teller line just to sign in for an appointment or another waitlist to access a safe deposit box. Turning simple branch tasks into an artificial payday bottleneck is unacceptable. Local staff know it's an operational failure, but corporate refuses to listen. Matter formally escalated to the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) following a federal NCUA referral. Look elsewhere if you value branch efficiency and consumer service.
