The best doctor my kids have ever had. She genuinely cares about helping your children and makes decisions based on what's best for them.

My daughter scheduled and attended a routine annual preventive physical examination in December…read more2025. During the visit, Physician Assistant Natalie Miller asked standard screening questions regarding general health and mental well-being -- questions that are customarily part of a preventive annual exam. At no point was my daughter informed that responding to these routine screening questions could result in the encounter being billed as two separate office visits under CPT codes 99395 (preventive visit) and 99214 (problem-oriented visit). We subsequently learned from our insurance provider that two evaluation codes had been submitted for the same date of service and that the 99214 "problem-oriented" portion would not be covered. When I contacted the clinic for clarification, I was told that because certain topics extended "beyond" the preventive exam, separate billing was permissible. I was also reminded that my daughter had signed a financial responsibility agreement obligating her to pay any charges denied by insurance. While we understand that such billing may be considered legally allowable under certain circumstances, our concern centers on transparency and informed financial consent. If a visit transitions from a preventive service to a separately billable evaluation and management service, patients should be clearly notified at the time the scope changes. Without that disclosure, patients are deprived of the opportunity to make informed decisions about whether to proceed, defer discussion, or schedule a separate appointment. Patients reasonably expect that routine screening conversations conducted during an annual physical are included within the preventive visit. Clear communication regarding potential additional charges should occur before services are rendered -- not after insurance has denied payment. We appreciate Dr. Roshni Patel's willingness to engage in dialogue regarding this matter and her efforts to review and improve transparency moving forward.

I wanted to take this time to write a letter about your office inindian trail. I was seeing…read moremultiple doctors since I left Florida and was very frustrated and upset these doctors did not care or did there office. I was brought to the hospital after my son called 911 because of a major panic attack. I called a doctor i was going to in Indian trail and they could not get me in for 5 weeks???? I was so upset I just sat there and cried. My health conditions are ruining my life and I felt alone and no doctor cared I don't want to live like this anymore. I called the office in Indian trail after my family doctor couldn't see me for a long time. The staff was very friendly and booked me an appointment for the next day with doctor Andrew kindle. They got me right in. And as doctor kindle walked in in my mind I am like here we go someone else that is not going to care for me or help me. I was dead wrong! Dr kindle sat there listening to every health problem I had. I told him I had very terrible insurance and could not go to a specialist cause I could not afford it. He sat there with me for an hour! Wow I was taken back how much he listened cared and was saying we are going to try and help you with everything going on. I have herniated discs in my neck, chronic Epstein Barr, aniemia, fibromyalgia, panic attacks ( after I watched my dad die) and worst of all and most frustrating interstitial cystitis ( which most urologist are ignorant and do not even want to learn or know about this painful terrible untreatable condition) dr kindle knew what it was but you could tell he knew little about about it but not enough. I went in for my second appointment and he walked in the room and said to me so after you left I have been researching interstitial cystitis and here is what I came up with!!!!!!!! I wanted to cry that someone really was going to help me he sat with me for another hour! I can not thank dr kindle and staff enough!!! I finally found someone who will take the time to treat me right instead of just rushing writing scripts and not caring enough what is going on. I will never change doctors ever ! He is wonderful !!! Dove internal medicine is giving me hope that I might not have to live in pain everyday ! Thank you so much

I've been going here for close to a decade for basic visits (prescription refills, etc). My doctor…read moreis amazing but billing transparency here is a nightmare. I got selected for a random drug test to continue my medication. I asked for the cost and was informed of the copay, nothing further. Well, needless to say I was shocked when I got a $200 bill in the mail for a drug test THEY wanted to do to continue filling a medication I've been on for 10 years. Not happy about this at all. I've never had to take one before nor was it a yearly requirement or anything. If you come here, make sure it's for basic requests because there could be hidden charges for anything out of the norm.

She's encouraging to get me back on track but I'd rather hv an MD tho there's no female MD here taking new patients. Everyone is hospitable except the nurse for td seemed hurried, missing my true weight nbr n instead taking down whatever it "slowed down" to be. Oh well. The mammogram ladies td were nice but I couldn't get one done since it was all "booked up" td n also in December tho I didn't see any other customer in the bus besides me. Even as I type this outside its door, no one has popped out. It's probably a quota thing... so many a day? They suggested that I go to the Waverly Novant for it if I needed it sooner. So, if you're needing a mammogram soon, u'll need to go somewhere else. Mine is scheduled all the way in January. Make sure u make an appointment asap. I use to be able to just walk in but not anymore. I guess Waxhaw is busting at its seams.

The staff at check in was great and made the check process easy. I had already filled out most of my information online but check in was smooth. I was quickly called back to an exam room and the attendant was professional and thorough. They explained they would need to take X-rays and that was handled quickly. However, once I got back to the exam room, the doctor took about 45 minutes to come to the room and do the exam and explain the X-rays. He was professional and explained everything in a straightforward manner and answered all of my questions. OrthoCarolina did a great job, it was the wait time that bothered me and there was no apology for the long wait time. I would recommend!

They really know their stuff. Beyond knowing their stuff is their continual dialogue with patients. On each appointment we began discussing how the exercises were working, how I was feeling, what is working or not. Then we would get into planning for that day and going forward. I was involved in the therapy. And we continued in this joint planning over a month of treatments. They administer a tablet form of survey asking about your condition and how it is affecting your life. After the therapy has run its course you complete the same survey, so they have a before and after record of your condition. Impressive and given the people cycling through this practice it was clear that the facility and all the therapists were doing something special. Good resource for most all of us.
