Dr. Strang is awesome!! I've visited a few times and he is always on time, courteous, professional, and informative. I feel like a new person every time I leave his office. If you are having any back pain for any reason, pay him a visit. He will work with you and give you tips on what to do after you leave. I found him because of Groupon and I'm glad I did! I had never been to a chiropractor before but was having horrible back pains due to a new mattress that just wasn't working for me and keeping home from work. I came in once and I'm a lifetime customer of his. Give him a try, you won't be disappointed! read more

Strang Chiropractic - Chiropractors Near Me - Houston, Texas

Before this place, I had never been to a chiropractor. Needless to say, when I injured my back, a friend recommended to go see one. Thus, Groupon provided answers. And I was super super happy. Dr. Strang is definitely a very skilled chiropractor and talks to you to see what you need. He does manual adjustments, muscle stretches, electrical stimulation (via electrodes) and heating pads. The experience was very very pleasant, and my back felt a lot better even after the first visit! I was able to return to normal activity quite quickly. This is a family-run business; Dr. Strang's wife runs the front desk. Every one is super nice and professional. I would highly recommend this for anyone who has musculoskeletal issues and/or wellness and lifestyle help. Note - The current address on Yelp (2403 Sunset Blvd) is not the correct one. They recently moved offices to a new building on Kirby, in the Princeton Review building across from Little Ninfa's, Office Depot, and Oui Desserts. read more

Dr. Strang is a genius! I have been to 3 chiropractors before but never have I felt so great after visiting Dr. Strang. He pin-pointed the cause of my pain, suggested corrective actions and did the necessary alignments. He is very knowledgeable and his clinic is very clean. I recommend him to anyone in the Houston area who needs a very skilled chiropractor. I have already scheduled an appointment for my dad next week (even though he does not have pain, I want Dr. Strang to check his spinal alignment, posture etc.) Highly recommend his services; very professional, very knowledgeable and he gets you fixed! (you will thank me later) Thank you Dr. Strang. read more

I visited Rice Village Chiropractic Monday, due to severe neck pain and shoulder pain. They were so accommodating and fit me in quickly. I was very relaxed by the kind staff and was actually able to turn my head from side to side and up and down when I left, which was a major improvement to my condition prior to the adjustment. I will definitely be back! read more

I first came here a year ago after a nasty snowboarding fall that had me waking up and neck and back stiffness for a few months, and very limited ability to do squats and deadlifts (100 pounds felt unstable, versus 225 pound squats before). After 3 appointments I was back to playing soccer and exercising comfortably. I stopped going after a while because I "felt fine", then just recently I had a collision playing soccer that resulted in a stiff neck and upper back for several days. I learned my lesson about waiting a few months after the snowboarding and scheduled an appointment yesterday. Today I woke up feeling fantastic. No pain, range of motion greatly improved. Highly recommended. read more

Good Chiropractor with reasonable pricing, especially if it's your first time. I would recommend.

I have been calling and left voicemail for the past 3 days to schedule an appointment. At this point, I will be looking for a new practice with faster response and a better manner. read more

I had a wonderful experience!!! This was my first time ever going to a chiropractor. I went in for lower back pain. I did not tell Dr. Strang that I also had a neck issue on my right side. He started the consultation and he was right on. He explained to me and demonstrated what was going on with me. After the consultation and adjustment, I felt like a brand new person. My lower back pain was gone. I can do everything back to normal instead of looking like hunched over little old lady. read more

Strang Chiropractic - Chiropractors Near Me - Houston, Texas

So for decades, I used to trash-talk about chiropractors because of my limited knowledge. Stuff like "they're not licensed" (they are), "they don't know what they're doing" (there's good and bad chiropractors like in any other profession) and/or "you're better off seeing a physical therapist" (not true...read on). Then over 2 months ago, I started having this reoccurring excruciating pain in my bicep. I went to my regular doctor (an internist...not just a family practice or general practitioner) and she said it appeared to be a pinched nerve. Fine, how do I fix that? All she did was prescribe me muscle relaxant medication. "Uhh...how exactly is this supposed to reverse a pinched nerve?!" She said if it didn't go away (after 2 months, it hasn't), then I might need to see a physical therapist. So I did a bunch of research and discovered physical therapy only applies AFTER you are injured whereas chiropractors are about PREVENTING injury by making sure the nerve conduits from the spine vertebrae aren't compressed. Lucky for me, my sister has been going to Dr. Strang for a year and recommended I check him out before the more expensive physical therapy (and possible surgery). The results? Dr. Strang definitely knows his shit. In just 2 visits, he has significantly diminished the pinched nerve. For 2 months, I was waking up EVERY night (often several times a night) in serious sharp pain. After my first visit with Dr. Strang, I was able to get uninterrupted sleep for half a week. After the 2nd visit, I feel even better. I expect to require 1 or 2 more visits before the pain will be completely gone but I can already tell this is a legitimate practice. So I willingly admit, in prior years I did not know what I was talking about. Now my eyes are open and I look forward to seeing Dr. Strang not just to alleviate my pinched nerve once and for all but also to keep my spine from compressing in the future thanks to his treatments. Check him out. His prices are very affordable and he knows what he's doing. read more

I've been seeing chiropractors for almost 20 years and as an experienced receiver I can determine a good one. Also I know that seeing chiropractors is like doing maintenance for your car or your teeth: you have to do it regularly on a schedule. We moved to Houston this summer and during the first session with Dr. Strang at the Rice Village Chiropractic I knew he is the one I'd like to see regularly on schedule. I liked that he was listening to me, that he was explaining things to me and of course I liked the adjustments he made and how excellent I felt afterward. In short I am a regular at RVC. read more

My recent visit to Rice Village Chiropractic was by far an exceptional one. As soon as you enter the office you feel the at-home (zen) atmosphere, therefore making ones' visit there a pleasant one. A few years after high school, I suffered from lower back pain caused from certain injuries that stemmed from playing high school sports. The pain was gone after my first visit and thanks to Dr. Strang the treatment has been successful. This was my first time seeking out a chiropractor and receiving treatment and I have to admit that Dr. Strang is great at his profession and is really good at explaining everything. read more

Dr. Strang has one of the best bedside manners I have come across. He will make you feel at ease immediately. This was my first chiropractor visit so I was nervous. He was very thorough in explaining the processes of healing my neck issues. He went above and beyond to ensure I received the tools I needed to perform exercises for my neck pain. I highly recommend him and will be returning on a routine basis to achieve wellness. read more

I came across Dr Strang as a new arrival here in Houston after seeing another Chiro that just couldn't hit the mark. Dr Strang's technical and thorough approach was far and above his local peer and I felt better within an hour of the initial adjustment. And from that point I knew I found my knee Chiro here in town. Thanks Dr Strang for the uplift in how my body feels. read more

Dr. Strang mixes old school adjustments (a good thing) with new age technology (think post adjustment muscle stimulation) to provide excellent chiropractic care. The office is clean and Dr Strang is incredibly friendly and cares about his patients. His rates, with or without insurance, are incredibly reasonable and fair. I found Rice Village Chiropractic through Groupon and am extremely happy with the services I received... Dr. Strang was very attentive when I was explaining my neck and upper back pains.. At first, I was doing physical therapy for my back and hip, but it honestly wasn't helping me. So I decided to go to a chiropractor to see if he/she can improve my back and hip. I made the right choice by coming in to Dr. Strang's office. He is very thorough in his consultation and adjustments. He is very professional and patient with me. I will be continuing my sessions with Dr. Strang until my issues improve. I highly recommend him! read more

Dr. Strang is professional, knowledgeable, kind & caring. My lower back & neck are so much better thanks to him!

I was recommended Dr Strang's office, and I can say, everything was better than expected. The cracking sounds that happen during an adjustment scared me so I turned to a medical doctor for help whenever I injured my lower back at the gym. She gave me a back brace and medication which helped briefly but the pain would still return with the same intensity. Dr Strang was my last hope. The environment was calming, and Dr Strang explained everything to me which eased my apprehension. After my visit, I felt so much better. I wish I would have come here to begin with. Thanks to Dr Strang, I was able to return to the gym with no pain. I look forward to future visits at this office. read more

I have never been to a chiropractor before but with a friends recommendation and the groupon, I decided to go ahead and try it. Lo and behold I ended up traveling but Dr Strang worked with me to extend the groupon date just a little, and the personalized attention and focus not just on the adjustments but also on answer questions and talking through it make a world of difference. It's only been two visits but so far my back is a lot less tight and hoping a few more will make all the difference in the world read more
