Great! I've been trying different chiropractors, including the Joint, and his adjustments have been the best. No excuses like being "tough" to adjust or anything like I've heard before. read more

Dr. Holmes is very professional, friendly and helpful. My husband and I have been coming here since 2016(I think) . We absolutely don't mind driving all the way from Katy to see Dr.Holmes. He has help us a lot. My body felt all discombobulated before and after my first visit with Dr.Holmes I noticed the big difference. I highly recommend him read more

I was referred to Dr. Holmes by my boss who said he was her family's chiropractor and he was basically an "adjuster magician". I woke up one weekend with excruciating back pain (the kind where you are laying on your back like a cockroach!) and was referred to Dr. Holmes that Tuesday. I called him around noon that day and he said for me to come in immediately after work. We did a full work up and I felt like I was only in there for 20 minutes when really it was an hour and half! He is so full of positive energy and very well mannered. He is efficient and straight to the point. I have now done 5 sessions with him and this morning was the first morning in over a week where I could swing my legs around and out of my bed without any help at all! If you don't believe me, then you can ask his friendly long term patients that visit him in his lobby giving free testimonies on the Dr's great works! I definitely am happy to have been recommended to him and I look forward to the positive (and quick) changes he will make to my spine! read more

I am new to the Houston area and Dr. Holmes came highly recommended by a trusted friend. He answered the phone on the first ring and he was able to see me that day. I felt like he took his time serving me as well as his other clients that eventually came in for their scheduled appointments. He doesn't have a receptionist and spent quality time evaluating my needs and tending to other patients. It is an open area, but you are advised of that and can see that at the beginning of your appointment. I actually preferred this open aired room because he was accessible the entire visit. His other clients were as sweet and genuine as he was/is. I had a Saturday appointment this week and his son was assisting him in the reception area. He processed my payment and handled the scheduling of my next appointment with ease. I think it's amazing that a doctor isn't afraid to introduce his children to the business world at an early age. He is teaching them great business skills and I am certain they will be super successful in life. Overall I am extremely happy with his low-cost, no frills, family approach to medicine. When I went to visit him I was unable to lift my arm straight above my head. I had damaged something within doing a yoga plank. After three visits my flexibility has returned, I have more energy and I feel better than I have in weeks. By the way, HE called to check on me after my first visit and again on my forth visit. Now that's an amazing doctor! read more

I love Dr. Homes. I go back there as often as I can. He really knows what he's doing and always makes me feel better and sleep better that night read more

Absolutely my All-Time, Top-Fave Chiropractor in all of Texas!!! Dr. Holmes is Magical.

I realized my baby girl would only look to the right, and she was officially diagnosed with torticollis at 3 months old. Since there was a 3 week wait to get in with a physical therapist, my sister suggested we see Dr Holmes in the meantime. He scheduled us right away, and within 2 visits she was able to look both ways for the first time. Now, I take her regularly and she has only gotten better and better. I never realized babies could receive chiropractic care, but now I will be bringing any future babies I have to Dr Holmes starting at birth. Can't recommend him enough! read more

Firstly, Dr. Holmes office had a open door policy such that he performs his adjustments on you in an area next to the waiting room. There is no divider to provide privacy. Secondly, he never used the electrode-simulation on me or offered a heating pad after the adjustment. I hear this is normal procedure for most chiropractors and I paid the average amount ($45) but received less than average service. Thirdly, for my first exam (I had x-rays taken), he had me waiting for 35 minutes after the exam while he saw other patients. I felt like he was rushing and just wanted to make more money by seeing as many patients as he could and therefore my quality of care was affected by his neglect. Lastly, he had his 12 yr old son as his receptionist. His son constantly asked him questions on how to bill people and what to do. This again caused Dr. Holmes to be distracted from my care. Overall, I wouldn't recommend Dr. Holmes to anyone. read more

My dad comes here, and finally brought me in for my first adjustment. It was amazing and I feel so much better!

Dr. Holmes is incredibly thorough and very skilled at what he does. I came in with difficulties expressing my pain, but he was able to pinpoint daily processes that contributed to my issues and suggested a treatment plan to alleviate my symptoms. I highly recommend. read more

Excellent service and knowledgable Doctor. He really cares about each and every patient.

Feel like a new person after receiving 1st adjustment with DR. Holmes. I found Dr. Holmes on Yelp as a maternity chiropractor. It appears he is very versed in all areas. There were all different types of patients and ages at his office. He was very personable, performed a thorough assessment, and I felt immediate pressure relief from my sciatica. I will definitely continue my visits read more

I became so accustomed to walking around with pain I began to think that's just how it was going to be for the rest of my life. After a few visits with Dr. Holmes though, my neck feels loose, my shoulders are relaxed, and I no longer suffer from mysterious headaches as a result of tension in my upper back. Dr. Holmes is a true healer. He seems interested in getting to the root cause of his patients' pain and correcting it once and for all. On top of that he's a nice guy who really seems concerned about my well being. I absolutely recommend him! read more

In the Spring of 1999, I was in severe pain and could not stand up straight. I asked a friend for the name of his chiropractor and he enthusiastically recommended Dr. Randy Holmes. I called the office and explained my situation. I explained that this was a chronic condition and all my doctor would do is prescribe pain killers and muscle relaxers and I needed a better solution. Dr. Holmes listened patiently and told me to come to his office immediately. I arrived at his office and was seen right away. After an exam and X-rays, I was given an adjustment. I felt better, but better wasn't good enough for Dr. Holmes and I was given another treatment. This time I could stand up without pain. After a few more adjustments I left the office pain free for the first time in weeks. This has been my experience with Holmes Chiropractic for 17 years. He has done a wonderful job keeping me healthy and I have referred several friends to this office. read more

Dr. Holmes has changed my standard of living! Several years ago I was a power lifter that took on too much weight and tore a muscle that developed into mass of scar tissue, which coupled with spending large amounts of time working at a computer hunched down, caused me to live with a large amount of pain; especially during and after physical activities. After finally giving in and using an expired coupon, that he took by the way, I was examined. The examination/x-ray room is on the side with a latched door, so no-one bothers you. He will x-ray you and take a few scans of your back, takes about 25 minutes then he will show you where the problem spots are, if any, in my case several, and adjust you accordingly. Adjustments only take about 5 minutes, unless you are in need of further attention or have ANY questions. He will spend time answering ANY question to the best of his knowledge, which is normally spot on. After the first adjustment he does call you and make sure that everything is going well and again makes sure you don't have any questions. Overall I have had a great experience going to Holmes chiropractic, I can now run, lift or drive for long periods of time without pain, which has caused a higher standard of living for myself. I highly recommend seeing Dr. Holmes! read more

I am new to Houston and needed an HIV-friendly Chiropractor so that I may be totally honest and forthright about my health to obtain the absolute best care possible. Dr. Holmes was the only entry who came up in my rather specific Google search. That is no problem because he is great--very professional, yet easy to talk to at the same time. He is thorough with his explanations and does not talk over my head, rather in language I can relate to and easily understand. I am happy with the treatment and already feel much better. I look forward to maintaining my chiropractic health now that I have a physician who listens to me and with whom I can be totally upfront about my medical history. Highly recommended! read more

Dr. Holmes is a wonderful chiropractor! He helped me greatly post pregnancy with neck and back issues. Bringing my daughter in during the appointments was not a problem in any way - in fact, he gladly held her for me the first time I went in due to her crying. So for all those moms out there who can't find a babysitter to get to the doctor - no worries here! I brought my daughter in every time :) He is incredible at what he does, and on top of that is personable and cares about you as an individual, not just a patient. Five stars! read more

Upon hurting my back, I was frantically searching for a chiropractor to help me as I was in extreme pain and could not walk without assistance. I called Dr. Holmes; he could hear the pain in my voice and immediately said "come in now, I will see you." When I walked (more like hobbled) into Dr. Holmes' office I was hoping for just a little bit of relief from the extreme pain I was in - Dr. Holmes did just that and more. I immediately felt a sense of relief as he assisted me through the X-Ray and adjustment. He was very helpful in his explanations as to what he was doing and why it would help. By the end of my first office visit, I was able to walk on my own without support and the pain in my lower back had reduced significantly. After my second visit, the pain had subsided even more. I look forward to continuing my treatment with Dr. Holmes, even after my injury is resolved. read more

Dr. Holmes is the chiro I plan to stick with after recently relocating to Houston. I've been in chiropractic care since early 2010 and he fits the bill of what I was looking for. Easy to get an appointment and I always leave here with relief of my SI pain. It was easy to get setup as a patient - none of the hokey business some chiropractors delve into and no doom and gloom about how bad my back is. Simply put, he's down to earth and very effective as a chiropractor. read more

I'm new to the area, and was looking for a chiropractor. I found Dr. Holmes, and he is excellent!

Through a series of sports injuries and accidents over the years, I had developed chronic aches and pains in my neck and lower back. Then three years ago, I had a slight fall and it somehow it triggered a chain reaction that left me with many symptoms that greatly reduced my quality of life. They included: Loss of leg functions: 80% loss of motor skills, 80% loss of strength, constant numbness, and cold extremities, mostly with my right leg. My left leg fared better but the effect was still substantial. I could manage to walk with a cane slowly, painfully and for only short distances and short lengths of time. Loss of hand functions: 70% loss of motor skills, 30% loss of strength, constant numbness, and cold extremities, mostly with my right hand. My left hand fared better but the effect was still substantial. Muscle seizures: Without warning, severe stabbing and tearing pain and total loss of muscular control would suddenly grip the area that extended from my lower back down to my lower right hamstring. It was so severe that it would knock me down and leave me on the ground in a fraction of a second and would continue up to 30 seconds. The episodes were unpreventable and were especially acute in the morning. It would take me 45 minutes to be able to stand. I saw a neurologist who immediately wanted to perform neck and back surgery. I refused that option because six years ago, I had to have surgery on my elbow. I picked up a hospital infection that I treated myself. It was a better risk than going back to the hospital. After all, the hospital was the source of the infection. Surgery on my spine was out of the question because a potential infection would likely kill me given the direct pathway to the brain. I tried acupuncture which did relieve a lot of pain and got me on a path to recovery, or so I thought. After two years of gradual progress, I thought I was going to ultimately make a full recovery. But during the Fall 2015 through causes unknown, I suffered a severe relapse and all the progress I had made was erased instantly. I was back to square one, experiencing all the symptoms as badly, if not worse, than before. A friend recommended that I see Dr. Holmes so I made an appointment to get examined. During the first session, Dr. Holmes and I discussed in great detail my symptoms and history. Then I was X-rayed and analyzed. The images revealed that a few vertebrae in my neck were severely out of alignment, causing my spinal cord to stretch and pinch at the points of dislocation. This had the effect of cutting off nerve stimulus and communication with my limbs and was the principal cause of my symptoms. I immediately started on an intense treatment regimen, visiting with Dr. Holmes three days a week. Each visit consisted of progress review and adjustments to my neck and back. After the third visit I began to notice the improvement. Muscle seizures were becoming less frequent and less severe. After two weeks, motor skills and strength began to return. After three weeks, my body temperature began to normalize and numbness began to dissipate. Each week I continue to progress. After moving to a two session per week schedule after two months, I now experience no muscles seizures, walk without a cane, move my toes and ankles more freely, have far more sensation and control of my extremities, have more body warmth especially in my extremities, have far greater manual dexterity, have greater strength as my atrophied muscles are regenerating. I have no trouble with pain in the mornings and I am able to stand and walk without problems. In a short period, my quality of life has improved tremendously and I am regaining my health and confidence at a rate that far exceeds any of my original expectations. My recovery to date has all been made possible by Dr. Holmes' exceptional care and generous concern for his patients. Visits are always time efficient. Progress is continually tracked. Adjustments are precise, painless and extremely effective. I look forward to more improvement and have absolutely no doubts that I will continue to recover the capabilities I had lost. I do not have a single reservation about recommending Dr. Holmes to anyone who may be suffering from pain, immobility, or any type of discomfort at any intensity level that may be related to spinal problems. read more
