My hair was so fried it was falling out and I paid a lot of money. My total was over $200. Not okay. I had been trying to contact the owner for a long time and finally when I talked to her she said all she could do was send me a $50 gift card for service only. Which is ridiculous! The atmosphere was calm, and the aroma immediately elevated the experience to another sensory level. One of my favorite parts was the pre- and post-scalp analysis--it was incredibly eye-opening. I learned a lot about my scalp health and could already see a difference after just one session. The head spa bed was very comfortable, and the hair and scalp treatment itself was next level. Kim included many thoughtful touches, including massage and pressure point work to the neck, shoulders, and hands, which made the experience even more relaxing. I could both see and feel the difference afterward--my hair follicles felt less clogged, my hair felt cleaner, and my scalp felt refreshed with improved circulation. I walked out feeling relaxed, refreshed, and renewed. I would absolutely recommend this service to anyone looking to improve their scalp health while enjoying a deeply relaxing experience. I had even explained to this salon that I want a hairstylist similar to the Master colorist I had at Ulta. This salon lied and told me that they do have a master colorist and an experienced hairstylist. The hairstylist I got was a very young lady who only had 2 years of experience of being a hairstylist and who did not know what she was doing. Not only did she not wash my hair, properly (after putting the color on me), but then she also did not even colored all of my roots (as I had specified in my initial phone call with the salon). I had mentioned all of my concerns to this front desk lady, who was smirking and giggling silently. Nobody was concerned enough to talk to me as a paying customer and it was very obvious that they only care about getting money. The owner of the place did not talk to me, at all. There seems to be no customer care in this place. Very rude and unprofessional. I would not recommend this salon at all

Unfortunately, he also doesn't want to pay a lot of money for it. So for years, he's gone to Great Clips or the like and paid $8.00 for a haircut that 4 out of 5 times looks like I could have done a better job with some clippers in our kitchen. After we moved to O'Fallon, he decided that the nearest Great Clips had screwed him over a time too many and that he was finally willing to pay a little more for a haircut. So the search began. A mile or two down Main Street from our house is this little place called Salon Identity. I went in there once for an eyebrow wax (only $10.00 and she did an AMAZING job). I suggested he call them and find out the price for a haircut. He decided it was sufficient enough if it meant he was going to get a good haircut, and BOY, does he. He always goes to the same stylist - Tara, and she understands how finicky he is about his hair and she's always very patient with him, takes her time, and does a fantastic job. She even cleaned up his neckline and gave him a trim the week of our wedding so that he looked nice and fresh in his tux. Last night, I got my haircut by Tara for the first time and I am SO amazingly pleased at how it turned out. I had no idea it was going to look this good. She even showed me some styling tips to help me out with my new bangs and shorter 'do. The best part is that it only cost me $31.00!!! Absolutely unbelievable! I didn't know you could GET a good hair cut under $40.00. They'll accept walk-ins, but make an appointment today. You'll be so happy!
