On our appointment day, we took advantage of the first wax free. When we arrived, we were greeted kindly and felt welcomed. My partner had all of his information correct in the system, but mine had to be redone, which was a little frustrating. Thankfully, his appointment was first, so at least it wasn't too terrible. My wax, which I had my eyebrows done, was great. I really appreciated the attention to detail on not just wax, but also making them less long and plucking the stragglers well. I also have a piercing, and the care around it was well-appreciated. The room and table was comfortable, and it didn't feel awkward at all. The climate control was perfect too, which i greatly appreciate since many businesses are so cold to me! I definitely think we will be back! We may even sign up for a package deal.

At 9:05, as she pulled into the parking lot, she received another text saying EWC was closed due to the weather. She went in as there were two associates there. Attention owner/manager- educate your staff on this situation. Have them offer an apology and an "inconvenience" discount on h the next visit. Oh, CANCEL that because she Won't Be Returning. I did have an early appointment and since having never been here before I arrived early so I wouldn't be late. They did open their doors a little early before they actually opened. I didn't want to be that customer/client who tries to get in early so I just waited lol The woman at the front desk was super nice and helped me check in and let me know that Katie would just be a moment while she prepped her station for me. I had been up since 5am and really didn't want to fall asleep because I wanted to know what the process was and what was being done. Small chit chat didn't keep my attention so I did almost fall asleep. The service was fine? I guess? My lashes on the left eye like didn't take? Not sure if it was because of how it was done or the product that was used? The right eye seemed to work fine. I thought maybe I just needed to put on mascara to really see the difference. I followed after care instructions to a tee! Didn't touch, didn't put on make up for over 24 hours, didn't have them touch water, didn't sleep on my face... The next day my left lashes were pretty much flat compared to my right eye. Ugh. I did get a follow up call to see how my lashes were doing but I was at my bridal shower so there was no way I was gonna stop partying to take that call. I did follow up with them that Monday about how they turned out. They said I could come in so they could fix it for me. I thought, oh wow awesome! They asked for a time that would be best. I said it would be cutting it close for 3:45pm since I get off work at 3:30pm but they said they'd still take me if I got there no later than 3:48pm or something. So they put me on the book for a lash lift fix and I get the email to confirm. So that day I was scheduled, I HAUL ASS because I know time is money, only to be told that they wouldn't be able to do anything. What. Why have me drive out there to tell me that? This could've been a phone call. I get they need to see the lashes but... this could've been communicated to me beforehand. I felt like it was such a waste of my time and money. And then I was told I could come back in the recommended 4 weeks, but I'd still have to pay the same amount... lol why would I pay for a service that didn't work the first time? They offered to comp $20 but that was after I asked. It's just shocking they don't stand by their product. I have gotten my hair done at multiple places (I've moved around a lot), nails done at multiple locations and they offer to fix that service and comp it (if there's anything wrong, which is rare but at least it's offered) And those services are much more expensive than a $70 lash lift. It was really shocking. Take what you will from this review, but I will not be coming back.

Complete malpractice from a waxer from a Brazilian by waxer Pricila I had here 2 months ago. I got this wax before my bachelorette and wanted to return before my wedding, but unfortunately this wax has created some of the worst pain and damage to the most tender and vulnerable part of my body, during one of the most important times of my life. Cannot stress enough how horrible and traumatic this experience has been. I have warned so many people about this place since the wax. Was really hoping it would heal by now, and I wouldn't have to write this, but unfortunately it's gotten worse by the day and I now have to seek professional medical treatment. I would love to know how to further report this waxer as she has done irreparable damage to my body when I wanted nothing more than to feel beautiful during my the end of my bridal era. Instead, my "Brazilian" area has ridiculously painful, unhealed wounds (internal and external) from a wax I got 2 months ago. Extremely negligent, unprofessional care, like she had zero idea what she was doing and had never waxed a human being before. I've been getting waxed for years and have never been treated like this, nor could I have ever imagined something like this happening to somebody. EWC, please reach out to me.

If I can get in with specific people, I have a great experience, but when I have to walk in, I usually have a bad experience. I either get injured or irritated or both because the tech is too rough. They don't pay attention and end up causing scrapes and even bleeding on a couple of occasions. What really irritates me, though, is a couple of them have this thing where they will literally slap my hand if I'm not relaxing it enough to their liking. It doesn't feel to me like I'm NOT relaxing, so I assume they just like to be bossy and enjoy doing the slapping thing. I'm not sure that even telling them directly would do any good, because when I've tried, they just say "sorry" but then do it again.
