We found Ziegler Home Improvement on the Nextdoor app. We were looking for a contractor to do…read moreseveral small projects in our home from hanging blinds, putting up hooks, changing out worn out light switches to repairing wall settling cracks to painting. Ryan came on time, worked efficiently and completed all our requests with his expertise and his job knowledge. We never felt we were in his way, he apologized for being in our way. We couldn't have found a better person in Ryan Ziegler. His assistant, Anthony, showed his talent in patching up dry wall and painting. Ryan was helpful in making recommendations for future jobs. We can trust Ryan to accommodate us in our home Improvement needs. Please feel free to contact me for a referral.

A Truly Exceptional Contractor -- Valiant Contracting Earned My Full Trust!…read more A backed‑up sewer drain forced me into a complete bathroom gut and remodel -- the kind of nightmare project no homeowner ever wants to face. From the moment Valiant Contracting stepped in, the stress lifted. Their quote process was straightforward and refreshingly honest, with no fluff, no pressure, and no surprises. What set them apart was the control they gave me at every stage. I chose every fixture, every material, and even where each item was purchased. Zach, Aaron, and Justin treated my home with respect from day one. They were consistently polite, considerate, and professional -- the kind of crew you don't mind having in your house. The workmanship was outstanding. They moved quickly without cutting corners, and the final result looks and feels like a high‑end custom build. Even after we decided to replumb the shower and a sink to PEX -- a smart recommendation from Zach -- the total cost still came in far below the other quotes I received. Valiant Contracting is the rare company that takes real pride in their craft, and it shows in every detail of the finished bathroom. I recommend them without hesitation or equivocation. If you want a contractor who communicates clearly, works efficiently, and delivers exceptional quality at a fair price, this is the team you want on your project.

Honestly this is a review long overdue... this is the second time, now with a second house, that i…read morehave used Better World Builders for insulating and providing better energy performance out of my home. I cannot say enough good things about them. They are smart, courteous, timely, affordable, dependable, understanding and hardworking. On both my first home and now my second my attic had too little insulation and the walls none... they sealed rim joists, and around my chimneys, they packed my walls full of insulation, fixed my soffits and blew in new insulation in my attics. WHAT A MASSIVE DIFFERENCE. Not just in my bills but in how my house FEELS. The temp is more even, i no longer have cold rooms and warm rooms, my furnace runs less and my air conditioner keeps a more consistent temp through the hot summer. They are environmentally conscious with the materials they choose and can tackle any need you have, from windows, to roofs, to furnaces to air sealing and insulation. HIGHLY recommend.

Scholtens didn't have contractors available so just ordered stuff. Last time I redid a bathroom went much smoother. Will hold off redoing second bathroom. But it looks nice, just wish it had run smoother all around.
