No need to go to Home Depot or Lowe's. I have wasted more money on Handyman-(less) in past 2 years, than the cost of Bob Stout. You will be thankful that a Real and Honest Plumber is available.! I cannot say enough positive comments about Stout Plumbing. I have had two separate plumbing issues in the last two years; the first at my condo and the second at my parents home. Both times I knew exactly who to call, Stout Plumbing. Bob at Stout Plumbing is always quick to respond and is always courteous. He understands our concerns and patiently explains the issue. He fixed my leaky shower value at my condo in no time. He had the tools and parts to do the job same day, which was great because I did not have the time to wait. At my parents home he fixed a more major issue in the way the plumbing was designed. They had another company come out years prior and all they did was snake the pipe so it happened again. This time the day after a major holiday. Bob helped them understand why this continued to occur and what was needed to resolve it long term. They were so relieved and appreciated his honesty and ability to get the job done right. One thing that stands out about Stout Plumbing is their focus on the customer. You can tell they put the customer first. I will always refer my family & friends to Stout Plumbing. read more

Bob came by for an estimate, showed up on time. Price out the work, really reasonable on his cost. Bob definitly knows his profession in & out. Other awesome qualities at least for me, he showed dedication over more quality than quantity. Very pleased with his work, he communicated throughout the job. Super honest, couldn't believe that still exists. I would use him again for my home plumbing needs. If you live in Orange, CA and need a trustworthy plumber. Bob is your guy! read more

Bob came out at 12:00, went and bought two new parts because he was having issues with this manufacturer. Sure enough the first replacement didn't work.....second worked fine. He was reasonable, honest, clean (put booties over his shoes), and quick. Would highly recommend Bob. read more

It is 8:35 AM - They came out today on a weekend, I called around and found the only local company willing to make the trip on NFL Sunday, and our bathtub was clogged. They also unclogged our downstairs throne. In 30 minutes, they pulled out a "horsetail" which was a big tangle of tree roots. My neighbor has already taken care of the tree that they said was causing the issue. It was good to have my plumber's bill and opinion on the cause and also good to have such a great neighbor who understands these things. Thanks, I'll keep your number in the phone under good plumbers in Orange. I'm sure I will call again and will refer this plumbing service to anyone in Orange County. read more

So glad I called Stout. We had to turn off the hot water to our bathroom sink because we had a leak that then turned into a constant stream. I'm a germ freak so not having hot water to wash our hands in the bathroom was not ok and the constant turning hot water valve under sink on and off was not working. My mother in law referred Bob and he came out in a days notice and was on time. We had already purchased a new tap and Bob asked if we had the receipt which we did. I loved how he was trying to save us money. He said it may be an easy fix and we might not have to replace the whole thing. He was so informative and polite. Unfortunately it was not an easy fix. The old tap was badly rusted and when he went to remove it, it cracked so we had to have him install the new tap and some other parts. He also pointed out that our sink was not anchored to the wall. We have a pedestal sink and everything had to come apart. He replaced the tap some other small parts and an old rusted hose then attached to wall, caulked the back and left our bathroom neat and clean! Bob was professional, honest, reasonable and fast! Use Stout you will not be disappointed. I will definitely recommend him to all my family and friends! PS we are doing a complete remodel in our other home in Chino Hills and we are using Bob from Stout plumbing! I will post pics and comments when that project is done. read more

I've used Stout Plumbing twice now, and have been completely satisfied both times. Bob is professional, honest, and his prices are very reasonable. The first time we had him come out was to fix one of our bathroom sinks that wasn't draining properly. Not only was he able to come out that same day, he was able to complete the job super quick! The second time we called him, he came out to fix the stoppers in two of our bathroom sinks. Once again, he was punctual, professional and got the job done in under an hour! He is now officially my, "go to" guy for any of my plumbing needs. Thanks Bob!! read more

Dread calling a plumber? With Stout, he quickly diagnosed and located the problem, and immediately proceeded to repair it. Very efficient, knowledgeable, considerate, clean and neat, fairly priced and didn't try to sell me other unnecessary services/repairs. It's a relief to know you can always call (if necessary) and get prompt, good, quality service. This was our second time to use Stout. read more

I called Bob as I had a main line sewer blockage at my home in Orange and decided not to opt to call the Home Warranty service this time. This is the 3rd time I've had a blocked main line in 6 months. I determined the other guys were doing minimal work and that's why I kept having the problem. So I called a real plumber this time, Bob. He was fantastic. He set up his sewer line snake neatly to not leave a mess and worked until the block was really cleared, not 10 min like the other guys, but an hour working that snake. He was on time, neat, clean, quick to come out and answered my call vs me having to leave a message. If I had called the Home Warranty policy I still would be waiting on a call back from them. I am happy with Bob, very happy and he was honest and reasonable. So much so, that I scheduled him for next week to replace the wax rings on my toilets. As a favor I asked him while he was here if he would remove the shower head spray that was frozen up off the arm that comes out of the wall so I could replace that myself with a new sprayer. He did gladly. He's going to be my plumber from now on. Great guy read more

I called Stout Plumbing in the morning after reading the good reviews on Yelp. Bob picked up the phone in 3 rings. I told him about my problem with replacing my toilet and what another plumber told me what was needed. The other plumber said it would cost $1,500. Bob said he would have to double check and see if all that work was necessary. He had to do a couple of other jobs before he could come out to my place, but said he could be there about 12:30pm. He called and confirmed he was on his way, and arrived about 12:30pm. Bob looked at the job, said that extra work was not necessary, replaced the toilet and charged me $108. Can you believe it, $108 compared to $1,500? We were panicking about being down one bathroom and may have considered paying that amount until I decided to look for another plumber to see if that work was necessary and was the cost appropriate. Bob was honest, timely and a great person who does good work!!!!! read more
