The tour guide was a young woman who is well informed on Hart, his friends, movies, books, art, etc. We didn't see every room on the tour, but we did see the bulk of it. I was invited by friends to try rug tufting on a Saturday afternoon and didn't know what to expect…read more Prior to the class we were asked to submit a photo of what we wanted to create, so I had my daughter create a cartoon image of my precious baby and sent it in. When I arrived to class, the adorable image I sent was magnified on a "canvas". The teacher gave us detailed instructions on how to use the tufting tool and let us try it out before sending us back to work on our own rug designs. There were several staff members there to assist, give suggestions and help when it was needed. The facility was clean and the tables were adjustable which made the job easier. This activity does take the full 4-5 hours they recommended as there are more steps to complete after the yarn is tufted. I had a fun time and used lots of arm, leg, and core muscles as well!
