Finished result! My first tufted rug, and I love it

Jasmin and Jorge are amazing teachers. I came in with zero experience and prior knowledge about tufting and left feeling confident not only in the craft itself, but also in safely using the necessary power tools on my own. They create such a welcoming environment that makes learning a new craft fun and stress-free. By the end of the session, I made a super cute addition to my home, and look forward to making many more at Knotty by Nature!

My Non-crafty husband with is awesome project!

Let me just start by saying my husband is not "crafty" at all. He will NOT willingly try anything remotely crafty...so when he went with me to this class I did not set my standaeda high that he would stay attentive let alone finish his project...so when I say this was a one of a kind experience I speak truth. I was into my own project and didn't have time to encourage my hubs to stay with it...but turns out I didn't need to! The class was fun and engaging...the staff AMAZING! It's family run and when I say family it includes the kids that are supportive and so very helpful. It is a small group which made it nice and staff continually making rounds and being so very helpfull.. LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS CLASS! And as you can see hubs had a great time and was proud of his hard work! I'd give an extra few stars just for keeping my husband Engaged and entertained! THANK YOU JASMIN. JORGE. IVAN & AILEEN! I will be back!

Hands down the best hands on creative artwork experience I've had. Jasmin and Jorge explained the process very well and it was very easy to get the hang of it. Definitely look forward to coming back again soon!

We couldn't have asked for a better experience, even with a curveball thrown our way! When the…read morestudio's AC went out right before our event, Painting with a Twist went above and beyond by bringing all the supplies to us instead. That kind of flexibility and care meant so much, especially since our gathering was a memorial for a dear friend -- the last thing we needed was added stress, and they made sure we didn't have any. Issa and Vanna were wonderful -- patient, warm, and so easy to work with for our group. Everyone's paintings turned out beautifully, and it truly made for a meaningful, memorable night as we celebrated a life so dear to us. Thank you for going the extra mile to make this evening special. Highly recommend!

I am extremely disappointed with my experience here and will not be returning…read more The instructor, Isa, was good at leading the class overall. However, we felt uncomfortable when a strange man came to the window to peer inside. Instead of talking through the closed door, Isa opened it to speak to him, and he made a creepy comment ("I'm no Picasso, I just like to watch pretty women"). Opening the door in that situation felt unsafe for our group. The biggest issue was the complete lack of communication about the studio's broken air conditioning. It was ridiculously hot inside, and had they called or emailed beforehand to let us know, we would have gladly rescheduled. One member of our party suffers from heat-induced seizures, and she ended up struggling through the heat before we were forced to pack up and leave early for her safety. To make matters worse, two hours into the session, Isa casually mentioned that management had offered free bottled water due to the heat--a gesture that should have been provided immediately, not hours later. When we reached out to management, the owner was completely unsympathetic to the situation. They initially offered us a single free drink or a partial discount on a future session. After multiple emails from our party explaining how severe the heat issue was for one of the girls due to heat related seizures, the owner's blunt response was: "I understand your concerns. I am sorry the air conditioning was out, and we absolutely should have contacted you beforehand. I will refund the birthday girls seat and no more." Admitting they failed to notify us beforehand while offering the absolute bare minimum resolution shows zero regard for customer safety or satisfaction. This was actually my second frustrating experience at this studio. Previously, I won $150 in gift cards at a silent auction for an animal rescue, only to find out I couldn't combine them when booking for a group of five. The restriction wasn't stated anywhere on the cards, and management's stance was just "that's how it is," forcing me to lose money and pay out of pocket. Between the lack of transparency, safety concerns, and an owner who genuinely does not care about customer well-being, I cannot recommend this place.

I can't stop blushing…read more The Artful Bachelorette is an unique concept that specializes in bachelorette parties, birthday parties, etc. We celebrated my good friend's birthday this past weekend with a quick getaway to West Hollywood. Part of the trip included an activation by the Artful Bachelorette, a scandalizing crash course on drawing men in the nude. Their lovely team brings all the supplies, a fully nude model (hey, Oscar!) and provides guidance on drawing the male physique. There's two easy-to-follow rules: no touching and no photos. Once we got over the giggling, the afternoon went so smoothly. Over a two-hour period, we drank mimosas, ate cake, and got to know Oscar on a very personal level. Fortunately for us (and our champagne buzz) no artistic talent is necessary to enjoy this activity! The experience is very immersive with simple step by step instructions. Their team created a number of exercises and fun surprises to keep the group laughing and engaged. This would be a great alternative to anyone who finds strippers to be a bit too raunchy. The experience was classy, fun, and laughable. Despite not knowing many of the girls prior to our trip, we all left feeling bonded by alcohol and nudity.

High recommended for your party pleasure needs…read more Such a great creative concept to bond with the squad and take in some wonderful dare I say sights... The Artful Bachelorette is a activity event company that puts on as well as is sought after for events such as Bachelorette Parties, Birthdays, holidays, private parties and so forth. They offer a wine like beverage of choice, some charcuterie and candy for the eyes. You go through a few exercises with your peers trying to focus on the human form in it's natural bare self. Learning to embrace your creative inner artist, strip away the familiar and miss no detail of any kind or length... A few simple ground rules are gone over before the fun starts, but not before that first sip of vino or bubbly. Always respect the models, cameras/phones away during your session, don't touch unless touched... they are very polite and personable human beings and hopefully you are as well... they are free for photo ops (clothed at that point) after/at the end of your event... so channel your self control you'll be taking it all in for well over an hour. The group I was with through yelp was an amazing bunch and co-ed which was nice and refreshing for me to not be the only guy in the group though I felt just as welcome, encouraged and respected as any one else sketching, mingling and enjoying a Friday Night to the max. An amazing social icebreaker and bonding experience you should consider for you and a few.
