Words can't truly express how I feel about my experience with Erica as my birth doula…read more My husband and I met Erica at her hypnobirthing class that she was teaching. I was instantly drawn to her compassion, empathy, support, and knowledge. Her passion towards pregnancy and birth was so comforting and reassuring. Throughout my pregnancy, Erica and I stayed in contact. At 20 weeks, I was experiencing severe IS joint pain. My first reaction was to reach out to her. She listened intently, and had a recommendation for a pelvic PT specialist, which helped immensely and allowed me to enjoy the remaining 20 weeks. There were several more check ins, and like always, they were filled with empathetic listening, offerings of comforting words and advice. These conversations always left me feeling strong and centered again. My labor and delivery was long. Erica never left my side in the 30+ hours. She did endless hip squeezes, emotional support, positive affirmations, and coaching. My experience truly would not have been what it was without her. I have recommended Erica every chance I have had and would want her at any future birth of my own children. She is passionate about being a doula, and this shines through in every aspect of her work. She is a true gem. I am forever grateful that our paths crossed on our individual journeys and that we could share the adventure of the birth of my child together.

Highly recommend Erica! She was with me every step of the…read moreway for my home birth. Her expertise and tremendous compassion helped me in so many ways. This being my first baby, Erica gave me the assurance, support and confidence I needed to reach my goal of a natural birth. She is an amazing listener and her calming energy is infectious. Thank you Erica for being such an amazing person and my forever doula!!

Long time patient-- frustrated about money hungry behaviors!!!…read moreI have had two children with these providers, patient since 2007. Of course I had to pay large deposits each time just to be able to deliver my children with this office. Then in 2018, I needed to have a mass removed. It was done on 8/20/2018. prior to the procedure, I had to "pre pay" for office visits that were 100% covered by my insurance. Then they'd call to request payments for the next visit even though I had a credit with them. On 8/20/18 I had surgery. I had to pay $877 up front for the "portion of my deductible and the percentage I'd have to pay after that. " What they don't tell you is-- the hospital and other services will turn in their bills to the insurance first so you wind up owing the money to the hospital and NOT the gyn's office that performed the procedure. They have to "get their portion first before they will return the money to you." My Explanation of Benefits has finalized almost 3 weeks ago stating I owe the GYN office $0. I called today 11/1/18 and I'm told they "haven't received that information from the insurance yet. That can take weeks." Plus I'm told once they get the info from the insurance it can "take 2 weeks to mail a check." In the meantime, bills are rolling in from the hospital requesting payment to them. I hope every patient who has surgery with 7Hills Womens Health has an extra couple thousand dollars to be put out while waiting. (not to mention I had to be seen 4 times before they'd even do the procedure, once so they could bill for my annual pap smear separately though I had already been there 3 other times.) I hope I get my money back by 2019. I am ONLY giving 2 stars because Dr Jackson resolved my issue with the surgery and did a good job. I'm grateful to him; however, he's going to lose patients and so will this practice with their continual money hungry attitude. I've never seen an office demand so much money up front from their patients and I work in healthcare. Thank you for holding my money hostage now for probably 3 months by the time I get it back.

I have gone to Dr. Bhatia for several years. She knows my health background (which is extensive)…read more After I had my 2nd transplant in December 2018. I went to her in May for severe pain from ovarian cysts. I asked if I could get a hysterectomy because everyone on my mom's side of the family has had to have one. She did an ultrasound and found a fibroid tumor in my uterus as well an agreed to do the surgery. We set the date for July 24th. On the 23rd I got sick and called her office at 3 pm to cancel the surgery and had it rescheduled for September 11, 2019. Two weeks before my September surgery she had someone in her office call to tell me that they were canceling the surgery because she spoke with my nephrologist and they preferred to do it at a university hospital. What? After 5 months you're changing your mind. So I got to work. I called my nephrologists and she hadn't spoken with them at all and said they already given permission. So I wrote her a MyChart letter asking for an explanation. She told me she spoke with a urologist at the hospital and they were uncomfortable being in the surgery with a kidney transplant patient. My question is this. Why had she not asked this question back in May before agreeing to do the hysterectomy.? Why didn't she ask before the July 24th surgery date? Why did she wait 5 months to ask this question? Ovarian cysts cause severe pain which I've been having for 6 months. Now I have to find a new doctor affiliated with a different hospital. Have another consultation and then set a new date. All this could have started 5 months ago if she had asked the urologist at the time instead of waiting five months. What if I didn't get sick on the 23rd?. Would I have gone to surgery on the 24th and then been told nevermind I can't get someone to come in with me? This kind of negligence is ridiculous. I'm getting a new Dr.
