I chose this office for my OB/GYN after finding out we were pregnant on the recommendation of my…read morefamily doctor. I am so glad I did! This is a group practice, which means if you choose it as your OB/GYN you will not see only one doctor but rather cycle through them all (plus the RN) then choose one doctor as your primary for when labor begins...with the possibility that one of the other doctors may handle the delivery if your primary is not available. Initially, this type of practice did not appeal to me but now I feel like it's the best choice for our situation. Plus, you can be sure that when your doctor comes for delivery, he/she will not be exhausted from having worked a 12+ hour shift. The doctors at this practice at the time of this review are: Dr. Billock, Dr. Woeste, Dr. Kanter, Dr. Bevin, Dr. Khatia and Tina Ranson (RN). If it matters to you, Drs. Bevin and Kanter are male. We have not chosen our primary yet as we still have two doctors to see (Bevin and Khatia) but of the ones we have seen, Dr. Billock was my favorite but all of the doctors we've seen have been relaxed and professional. They answer my questions and do not seem to be in a hurry which is really great. Additionally, I like that I can call in between appointments and leave a message with a question and someone gets back with me within 24 hours. That is really helpful, especially if it's a pressing question that you're feeling nervous about. If you choose this practice, you will get a welcome bag at your first appointment with formula samples (a full size container of newborn formula, actually), magazines, a planner and other information. Also, they will not see you until you are at least 6-8 weeks along. My first appointment was at 9 weeks. They accept Anthem insurance - that is what we have - but I'm not sure about other providers. When you have your 18-20 week ultrasound/anatomy scan, it will be done on-sight. I loved that I didn't have to go to the hospital. The ultrasound quality was *amazing* - so clear and crisp! The technician was very nice and explained what we were seeing. You can have guests with you - we had the two of us, my parents, my sister and SIL. It was standing room only, but it was still nice to have people with us. We also received about 12 photos from the ultrasound which was awesome. Overall, I am very happy with my choice. The only downside I can think of is that you are going through seeing each doctor, you will have to ask them all the same questions to see who is in sync with your line of thinking in terms of birth...this is really important to help choose your primary, so take the time interview each one! They will answer your questions and don't feel silly for asking them.

Talk about unorganized. They said ultrasound today, but now they say they will "schedule" it…read moretoday. Sheez.

He told me the infertility wasn't linked to my suspected adenomyosis, nor my diagnosed endometriosis. The only good that came from that appointment was realizing that our insurance plan had changed and I had a year of IVF coverage that helped us through secondary infertility. I have never been treated so poorly by a doctor and, in hindsight, should have told him off immediately. I never looked back. I went to a trusted physician in another city and conceived our second child through IVF because of her. IRH treated me like garbage. No one deserves that.

The experience we had with this practice has been frustrating, belittling and just a money grab…read more Saw multiple of the doctors, all of which made it seem like you as the patient were wasting their time. If the doctors did give you even a minute of your time, if you had questions or concerns, they made you feel like an idiot for asking. Dr. Awadalla told me he didn't know what was wrong with me, but to try a few rounds - just giving them money blindly. The staff at the practice is unreachable -- you must leave a message and hope that someone gets back you. If by some miracle you get a call back congrats, if you missed their call bc you're an adult with a job, you're screwed and have to start all over again with a message. Inefficiency. Unprofessional. No one communicates with you, not the doctors, not the nurses. No one. Lab work done - I had to call weeks later to speak to a doctor about them All of fertility is very time sensitive - but this place doesn't give a crap about your time, they just want your money. Please don't see this practice, for your sanity - seek other specialists.
