They did a lousy job do not hire this company Oscar had an excuse for everything when I asked why they took off as soon as I paid them. I strongly do not recommend this company. Go local. The project started off seeming smooth enough. You do a video call where they draw up the fence live on screen and you can customize style, spacing, type, etc. That was probably the only convenient part of this entire process. The issue is that every single revision after that becomes a massive headache and takes forever. The first red flag was permits. I asked if I needed one and was told no. I am an Architect and knew immediately that was wrong. I had to send them screenshots of my township requirements for them to realize their mistake. Then they said they could submit for permit, only to come back weeks later and say I needed a survey first -- information they should have told me from day one. Because of that delay, I got stuck waiting through weeks of snow before I could even move forward. Once the survey was done, they claimed they would submit the permit ASAP. Days would go by with no responses. Meanwhile my assigned project manager changed THREE times, so I never even knew who I was supposed to be contacting. Then I found out the permit they supposedly submitted had no payment sent with it. Nearly a month later I was still being told it was "processing." At that point I contacted my township directly because this was starting to feel like a scam. They informed me the permit was filed incorrectly, payment had not been received, and they had emailed Ergeon weeks earlier with corrections that Ergeon never responded to. From there, I spent weeks trying to get ahold of an actual manager. Every phone call involved 45 minute holds just to be told no one was available or I'd be put on a callback list that never resulted in a callback. I eventually worked directly with my township to figure out the actual requirements, which meant revising the plans. On top of that, Ergeon incorrectly told me my fence had to be 4' high, while my township told me there was no issue with a 6' privacy fence. So they were not only delaying me, they were giving me completely false information that would have left me paying for something I didn't even want. Then came hours of me marking up PDFs, color coding revisions, and practically spoon-feeding their permitting team how to edit their own drawings because they kept getting it wrong. I became the unpaid project manager on my own job. The best part? After months of them failing to get a permit approved, I sent my township the same marked up PDF I had already sent Ergeon, and my permit was approved in under ONE HOUR. Finally installation day came. The local contractors themselves were kind and respectful. No complaints there. But while they were actively demolishing my existing fence, I received a text message with a $650 change order because site measurements differed from the contract. Measurements that should have been verified BEFORE construction ever started. So after months of incompetence, they tried charging me more money because they failed to do a pre-site verification. I called my PM -- no answer. Called customer service -- another 45 minute hold and another promised callback that never came. While my fence was literally torn apart. I finally got a manager on the phone after demanding one, and even he admitted the project was handled horribly. They waived the $650 change order and removed the permit fee since I ended up obtaining the permit myself. What is truly insane is that after FOUR MONTHS of delays, misinformation, zero communication, hours of my unpaid labor, and an absurd amount of stress, they still offered no discount or real apology. This company is a middleman that hires local installers while being completely incapable of managing the project. Communication is terrible, permitting is incompetent, and customer service is nonexistent. DO NOT USE THEM. Shop local and save yourself the nightmare.

I was watching his crew from time to time to make sure they were treating my property with care and listening to my directions of how I wanted things and with out any issue they listened and never damaged anything on my property and removed all garbage and cleaned up well I was very happy with the outcome and now I don't have to worry if my small dog escapes due to to old fence . They did great work before, and I was very satisfied then, but this time I didn't choose them. I read some recent negative reviews online, and their salesman didn't always get back to me in a timely manner about my quotes and answering my questions. I also asked if his company could repair a gate that needed to be rehung. He told me "No, my company doesn't do repairs. We replace." Well, that was not an answer I wanted to hear. So, I then went and got my second estimate, which was from Design Fencing. Their original quote for my project from Design Fencing was several hundreds of dollars higher, but Michael, their salesman, worked with me on lowering the price to my satisfaction. Michael also told me that his company would be willing to rehang the gate that I wanted to be fixed. Michael was very persistent asking if I had questions or concerns. He sent me frequent updates and texts asking if I had made my decision in choosing a fencing company. He didn't pressure me, but he was persistent in his communication, which greatly impressed me. He sent me a link to check out his company's positive reviews, and he also discussed with me his company's warranty policy. I decided to hire Design Fencing. I gave Michael a deposit of $540.00 to order supplies, and the balance was due after the job's completion. Michael told me that the fence would be put up three to six weeks later, which was fine with me. I paid by check since a credit card payment would incur a charge. The fence was put up within that time frame that we discussed. Joe, a middleman, worked with me on connecting with Anthony, his foreman. Today, Anthony arrived with two or three workers a little after 9 AM, and they were done with the project about 12:10. I was told it would take about three hours, and it did. Before they began, Anthony and I went over what was to be done and to make sure we were both on the same page. He then asked for access to an outdoor electrical outlet and to water to mix cement. The job was completed quickly and efficiently. Anthony and his crew cleaned up and took away an old gate that had been up before that was replaced with a new gate. Anthony was friendly and professional. His workers were also polite and pleasant. Even though Design Fencing's quote was still higher than my first estimate from my previously used company, I decided to go with Design Fencing for their great reviews, warranty, and their great communication with me. I figured the extra money spent was worth it. So, assuming my fence will be sturdy and last for years to come, I greatly recommend Design Fencing!

Their installation process was exceptionally well organized. I first spoke with a representative who virtually measured the backyard using specialized software. The installation team then came out in person to verify the property's dimensions before fabricating and installing the gate.
